Our Lovely Penthouse with Private Roof Top Terrace!

Beautiful and spacious apartment with great location. Check in was easy and host was very responsive with excellent communication. We highly recommend this property.

Host communication was timely and helpful and the location of this home was ideally situated for exploring Valencia. Unfortunately, I was ill for a bit of our stay, but the beautiful view from the patio and balcony and the kitchen made recovery that much easier. We hope to get back to Valencia for a do-over someday soon and I would love to stay here again. The only challenge is the many steep stairs to climb to the top floor location, but they were definitely worth the effort.

The penthouse is truly lovely. It was very clean and comfortable. Orinda was a wonderful host, very responsive and flexible with communications as I was having problems with my phone. We highly recommend.

Great location, fine amenities, spacious, comfortable. Easy access to most of the old town. We were there in mid-June with temps in the low 30'sC. With the windows open downstairs it was delightful. While the upstairs has AC we were preferred using a fan. Not recommended for those with mobility issues. Its 68 or so steps up to the unit and another 15 or so to the upstairs. Fortunately there is a lift for getting luggage up to the unit. We liked it a lot despite the fact we are in our late 70's and not as spry as we used to be.

We loved everything about this place. Location was very central to restaurants and activities in Valencia. The terrace overlooking Torres de Serrano was spectacular - we loved happy hour on the terrace! Overall the apartment was perfectly suited to our needs and we felt like locals in this beautiful city.

Spacious and charming living and sleeping rooms (very clean), well equipped kitchen, elevator for luggage, great terrace with direct view to the Serrano towers, close to many other attractions and public transportation, very good contact to hosts; please note: you need to be able to handle stairs (not a problem for us) - clear recommendation!!

My experience with this property and its owners has been nothing but amazing. My husband and I were planning to visit Valencia for the Fallas Festival. We wanted to be close to the action but also wanted a calming space to retreat to when the party was too much. We found it with this apartment. The space itself was exactly as advertised and eat-off-the-floor clean. We had room to spread out and relax, make a few meals in the full kitchen, do a bit of laundry and enjoy the wonderful terrace. An unexpected and delightful surprise was a ninot right outside of the building, which gave us a really unique view point for it's burning. The weather was more rainy than typical so we didn't use the terrace as much as we had hoped but I can imagine it's heavenly when the weather is nice. While just my husband and I stayed at the property, we had so much room to spread out, with a comfortable larger bed.We walked everywhere, including to and from the train stations with our luggage, and found the apartment to be the perfect location for exploring both the old and newer parts of town.The only possible additions to the apartment would be additional bed pillows, as we typically sleep with four, and a few additional towels. I've found this is common in Europe and bring my own quick-drying towel for when I wash my hair and want two towels, though. Again, these are such small details that in no way cast a shadow on our stay. Can't wait to come visit in the warmer weather!

Great location near the Turia Park and within all the charm and sites of the old city. Quiet. Comfortable. Kitchen & washer. Bright natural light. Excellent communication with property mgr. Terrace. High ceilings. Charming old design.The bedroom is upstairs, along with 1 of the 2 baths, and the terrace. Nice!The elevator is for luggage, groceries, etc; it doesn’t carry people. The stairs to this 3 story apartment (4th story as counted in the US) are lovely but require effort. One must be able to climb a lot of stairs to stay here. We considered it a great daily workout!

We had an enjoyable stay in this lovely apartment. The roof terrace is wonderful, overlooking the Serrano Towers. The property is well presented, clean, and in a good location from which to explore Valencia, there are many attractions within a short walk. Although, operating a self check-in, the hosts Orinda and Joseph provided a lot of helpful information regarding places to visit and eat etc. There were a few negative points: The apartment is charming, but we didn't really use the downstairs area due to the absence of air conditioning (a fan is provided). Its third floor location means that there are a lot of stairs, 66 in all. There is a lift available for luggage. Plus there were some small maintenance issues; the handle to the roof terrace door was loose, making it difficult to open and close. However, these were minor issues and didn't spoil our enjoyment of this lovely apartment, in a lovely city.
