Oceanview Balinese Oasis in the Heart of Kona Town

Balcony faced the ocean. We could hear the waves and birds. Right on Ali'i Drive between the major beaches and the very active area to the north. Great amenities-- boogie boards, snorkels, extra towels, aqua socks. Great response from the property manager to my questions.

Can’t recommend staying here at all. The host sent a message the day of check in that you are not allowed to use more than 1 major appliance at a time or it would trip breakers. Air conditioner, hot water heater, washer, dryer, stove? Choose only 1 to use at a time. You can’t run the AC while taking a shower. You can’t cook dinner while running the laundry. It was absolutely ridiculous to try and work around all week. This apparently was not just a temporary issue as I asked if it would be fixed while we were there and was told that no, this was somehow normal. The only option the host offered was to cancel the listing. Who is going to be able to find and rebook another place at 7pm at night after flying all day just to get there. He knew it was an issue, Didn’t say anything in the description and only tells you about it the day you check in and can no longer find other accommodations.The rest of the condo? The fancy bed is hard as a rock and the pillows provided are the cheapest ones he can find with almost no stuffing in them. The mattress isn’t even the full size of the bed. There is some sort of foam block the last 2’ of the bed where the mattress stops. It’s like he bought a queen mattress for a king size bed. All the fancy carving work is also so faded and dried out that every time you move the slightest bit, the bed creaks and groans.Ocean view? Yes with a noisy street between you and it with yelling drunks walking it at 3am. Stay elsewhere

While the space itself wasn’t exactly as expected, it was clean, and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Cute studio condo with a nice view of the beach across the street. Very clean and as pictured. AC worked well. It was also nice to have use of the beach chairs, towels, boogie boards.

Beautiful stay! Had snorkel gear and beach supplies for us to use which we used almost everyday.

Fabulous unit! Gorgeous view of the ocean, beautifully decorated, excellent communication with host, great location. Host was incredible and helped me with some modifications to last day. I will definitely stay here again.

This VRBO was absolutely perfect! The bathroom was spacious with nice amenities. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with all needs. The balcony over looks the ocean making for a beautiful view. It is within walking distance of several beaches and a taco truck with delicious food. Everything was clean, comfortable and homey. The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful. We highly recommend staying here and would stay here again upon a visit to Kona!

It's a clean nicely decorated condo close to downtown Kona. Partial ocean view from across the street. I had a little trouble identifying which building the unit was in (it's in a complex of many buildings). Please enhance building and parking instructions (reserved vs greyed out reserved).
