Oceanfront apartment with private beach!

I had a wonderful and very peaceful stay. The place was clean and conveniently located next to RT 15 making it easy to take day trips to Fort Knox or Bar Harbor. It is very quiet so if you want to just read and get away from your daily life then this is the place. The host was nice and was available if I needed anything. Highly recommend this place.

Sharon was great: helpful and welcoming . The place was clean and comfortable and in a good location to explire the area.

The owner was fantastic! Checked in on me to ask me how my stay was going, sat and chatted for a bit. Great location, enjoyed the morning sunrises, watching the deer, sitting on the deck and relaxing. I would definitely go back.

This ideally located property was amazing! Was able to watch sunrise and Sunset on the pier and cook lobster in the kitchen with the utensils there. Sharon was great and met us upon arrival. Can’t wait to go back.

We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and that made us feel welcomed. She also let us know about all the rain they had had recently and to wear old shoes that could get muddy if we wanted to walk down to the pier. 3 of many highlights for us were: seeing deer in the evening, awakening to unbelievable sunrises and having the deck to sit on and relax while enjoying a beverage or playing a game.

The apartment was comfortable and cozy and Sharon was a great host and was sincerely genuine in making sure we had all we needed. Pictures were slightly off. It is an ocean front property but beach was a walk thru tall grass and muddy areas during high tide so honestly only accessible during low tide. Sharon did warn us to expect it though. There’s a long pier out to the water and a beach to sit at and relax! We had fun exploring this island. The kitchen was well stocked and appreciated a variety of spices and condiments. The lobster utensils could be updated. We made them work but it took longer than it should have to get them cracked. Grill is charcoal and we couldn’t get it to go above 300 degrees. It could have been us though since we’re not use to the charcoal grill nor are we very handy! LolIt’s a great place for couples. Very serene and private.

I cannot recommend staying at Sharon’s home more!! I brought my pups with me to hike and her home was the perfect base to see everything! I did get a good laugh at the owl in the house lol I loved everything!

Quiet, clean, perfect for my wife and I. Good access to all of Deer Isle and Little Deer Isle. TV was upgraded from picture on website.

Wonderful location and comfortable apartment. Missed the availability of the rowboat but was promised it would be available upon our return. The only nuisance was the low water pressure in the kitchen and shower but overall that was minor compared to our enjoyment and overall comfort. We would gladly return.

We enjoyed our stay and the view was nice. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We would stay there again.
