Ocean, Sunset, Mountain Views, Private Deck: Villa Floresco: Tuscan-like Getaway

The property was outstanding, with gorgeous views it’s a must get away! The hosts Mindy and Ian are incredibly accommodating and hospitable would check up on us from time to time, making our stay truly enjoyable and feel at home. It was a great experience, the villa is very clean and everything is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely come back. Thanks to the lovely couple for sharing their gorgeous place with us.

Absolutely perfect stay. Our host Mindy was just lovely and really created a personalized touch. The space we stayed in was small, but so efficiently designed. We had a very comfortable stay! Every little detail was paid attention to and considered. It felt like we were in Europe, on a secluded mountain top. We enjoyed all of the decor as well. Just a beautifully designed space overall. The view was the best part, just stunning. We just enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sky and mountains. Absolutely recommend.

The roads are narrow and difficult. So we ubered for the most part. The hospitality was great.

Very beautiful view and lovely place to be

Of all the vacation homes in which we have stayed, Villa Floresco is unrivalled. The well-appointed and clean house is in a very quiet neighborhood, and affords spectacular mountain views. To our taste, Mindy is a five-star host - no reservations.

The property was great, with a nice view and great amenities. Additionally, Mindy was a fantastic host, providing us with everything we needed to enjoy our time in Santa Barbara. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Sorry this took awhile for me to post, but here it is! -Mindy, the owner of the proerty was amazing. She will greet you when you arrive personally and show you around whether night or day. Makes herself available most of every day for any questions or suggestions about the site and the city. Provides you with a bottle of Cab Sauv wine as part of the welcome! -Place is comfortable, well stocked bathroom as well as kitchen (Kitchen I never used cuz I didn't want to make a mess) which has stove/cookery/microwave/fridge/freezer. -Sofa is nice. Bed is king sized with a lot of pillows and comfortable. -Mindy provides a self-made guide along with several periodicals about the city for sights, restaurants, and even nightlife for you to peruse through. -Extra blankets and first aid kit in unit which is nice. -Suitcase stand which is very clever. -Long balcony gives you a nice view of the backside of the hill where you can see a small part of the ocean in the distance. -Unit is separate from the main property so you can be loud even at night and likely you'll never be heard. -Parking is tricky you'll have to park on the driveway between a wall and one of the owners cars but I had no problem. -Location is nice. It's in a quiet neighborhood high up in a hill. Just minutes to the main city and piers/beach. -AC is powerful! Works great. -TV is 32-inch Samsung has youtube and apple tv. -Wifi is pretty strong and stable. Would I stay again? ABSOLUTELY! Thank you Mindy for everything!

My husband and 8 month old stayed here for several nights during our wedding wedding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The VIEW is spectacular, I mean really incredible. You feel like you're whisked away to an Italian countryside. The unit itself is very private and has all the amenities you'd need. The bed IS SO COMFY (we even checked the mattress type so we could get something similar). And the décor is flawless. Loved the high ceilings, as well. Everything is actually just perfect. Mindy was super communicative and helpful. We will definitely be back, this place is a true gem.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from the start. The accommodations, attention to detail, majestic views, and proximity to everything in SB couldn’t have been better. We felt like we were at home and at peace. The hospitality is incredible and we hope to visit again!

The space was wonderful! Mindy showed us around when we arrived and left us a bottle of wine and a lemon from her garden! It was so nice to spend time in a more residential part of SB. The mountain views were beautiful and it was sooo nice to return to such a quiet space after a busy day exploring downtown. We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Floresco! Mindy and Ian were so friendly and welcoming; Mindy even left us a personal note with a bottle of local wine and lemons from their tree. The villa is gorgeous. It is beautifully appointed, stocked with everything you need, and very comfortable. The view of the canyon out to the ocean is stunning, especially at sunset. We were sad that we had only booked one night and had to continue on our trip. Next time we will stay longer! Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotless and very well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The view was beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The location was very convenient for everything we wanted to do. Communication with the host was excellent—quick responses and very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

My wife and I had a lovely stay. The host met us when we arrived, was extremely helpful and had a lot of great recommendations for us. We loved the apartment, and the views from the balcony of the ocean and mountains. We hope to stay there again someday soon!

Wonderful!

This VRBO was beautifully situated on a hill with valley and an ocean view, The room was clean, the host lovely and warm. The bed was so comfy! We slept well! We were met by Sena who oriented us to the property, then later by Mindy, the host. It was VERY quiet and private. You couldn’t walk into town but it was a short 5-10 minute drive into Santa Barbara. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine provided by Mindy and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The kitchen had what we needed, small but functional. We would definitely stay here again! Mindy was wonderful and we felt very safe and cared for!!

A beautiful space with many small details thoughtfully curated by the owner to make this an extraordinarily charming and cozy space. We were here to drop our daughter off at college, so we didn't spend much time in the space, but the host was fantastic and accommodating. Would definitely rent from her again. It's very quite, with a dark, starlit night sky and a serene view with a cute balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The host left us a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch.

Lovely room and exactly as it is pictured. The host thought of everything! Beautiful views! Only concern was the steepness and length of stairs. Although I'm fit, at 78 yrs. and carrying down a suitcase, it was a challenge! The host was unable to be there when we arrived but she was immediately available by phone. However it took us awhile to work out how to operate the TV.

Great view! Quiet location.

This was a fantastic place for my husband and I to stay while attending a family wedding. The check in instructions were spot on. The studio is beautiful, very warm and inviting. The view from the balcony is amazing. We highly recommend as a great place to getaway.

We absolutely loved our time at the villa! The check in was smooth and easy as Mindy greeted us upon arrival and walked us through what we needed to know. She was very easy to communicate with and immediately responsive. The location is secluded and private. Bed was comfy, shower hot, kitchen had everything we needed. We loved it and would recommend anyone to stay there!

Amazing stay! Beautifully decorated and extremely clean space with a perfect balcony with a view. Very considerate and hospitable hosts. We appreciated all the extras… wine, lemons and welcome on arrival, beach towels and chairs and the use of the laundry room. Lovely well appointed studio. The owners have optimized the space through tasteful furnishings, kitchen supplies and decor. My husband and I were quite comfortable and able to easily prepare simple meals (mostly lunches). The balcony is quite lovely to sit outside. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

Mindy was awesome, let me start there! She made us feel welcomed and gave us a bottle of wine, fresh lemons from her lemon tree along with a welcome card. This villa was unbelievably classy and the interior design alone was impressive. I have traveled all over the world and this is one of the most exquisite views I have ever been privileged enough to see. God’s art was ever changing moment by moment! The attention to detail and all the little things made this a place to remember. I would suggest renting a vehicle to explore all of the wonderful places around Santa Barbara!! Book this place now, I will be back! Thank you!!

Villa Floresco is a fantastic spot to base out of when exploring the Santa Barbara area. The unit is spotless, well provisioned, impeccably decorated and has unbelievable sunset views, and we were even tipped off by Mindy about an early morning rocket launch that was easily visible from the deck.

Villa Floresco is a stunningly beautiful gem tucked away in a quiet hillside. Views are definitely reminiscent of Tuscany. The place is cutely furnished and had all amenities you need. The bed is comfortable. The balcony was lovely to relax on and watch the sunset.The area is QUIET, very peaceful. Quick access to downtown, the beach, or beautiful trails nearby.Mindy is an extremely kind and gracious host. Her communication was stellar and we felt very warmly welcomed. 11/10 would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice stay for four nights at Villa Floresco. Online description is very accurate with one large room and en-suite bath. Everything is in top condition. Stunning views to the mountains and overlooking the city and ocean. Property shows clear pride of ownership. Very convenient to hiking trails, about 10 minutes to downtown restaurants and 15 to the harbor.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful views. Beautiful villa. Even better than we expected! It didn’t feel like a vacation rental, it felt like a real home. It was so cozy. The attention to detail was much appreciated. Great communication with owners. 100% would stay again.

We loved the unit!! It was 10 min into downtown Santa Barbara and the views from our deck were beautiful. It was so quiet too! Mindy was a gracious host and we would definitely return!

Villa Floresco is truly special! From the views of the surrounding hills, you could picture yourself in one of many beautiful places in the world. The inside and out are designed by someone (Mindy) who has an experienced eye for every aspect of country living. The getaway had everything that was needed for our stay and if we had wanted anything else I’m sure it would have been provided. The home was on top of a quiet hill but still only minutes from downtown S.B.. It was also less the an hours drive from to dozens of wineries, and the drive was beautiful with miles of grape vines and an assortment of fruit trees on both sides of the road. Mindy was a great owner to communicate with and even helped us with our bags! Next time when we’re staying in the area we will make sure that we have more time to stay at this treasure!

We had an amazing stay at the villa for a long weekend. Mindy made the process super easy and painless and the place was perfect. I brought my girlfriend and we left newly engaged! It was a great choice to stay at the Villa and we made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Mindy!

We had wonderful time. The space is very much as described and as the pictures show. Mindy, the host, could not have been more helpful. You really are up in the hills above Santa Barbara. It’s quiet. There are stars, hummingbirds. It’s beautiful. And everything Santa Barbara has to offer is ten minutes away.

This is by far the best rental we have ever stayed in. It is a gorgeous and thoughtfully done studio in a stunning and peaceful setting. Mindy is an amazing host and thought of every detail to make this an easy, welcoming and comfortable stay. We highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
