We were looking for a peaceful oceanfront space for a ‘reconnect’ for our marriage. It was perfect. Quiet, safe, romantic, incredible food in a short drive or a long’ish’ walk. Host was lovely. Bed was comfy. We very much enjoyed our time here.

The host Kim was great, as was the location and the quiet.

Amazing place to stay. Very quiet. Only you heard the waves coming and going. Very clean. All whatever you need. Its really returnable place. Special thank to Kim. We are really enjoying our vacation.

The property was exactly as pictured. Small and cozy and my favorite part was being right on the beach. the patio is where I spent most of my time, and the view was incredible! Kim met me when I arrived to show me where to park and get me in the unit. She was very responsive and helpful with local restaurants and what to do in the area. I was there on business, and my evenings were very relaxing so I can't complain. I would highly recommend staying here!

The apartment itself was wonderful and Kim was super fast at responding even though she was out of the country during our stay. Being on the beach was great, but there were a couple things that should be known before booking and would have probably changed my mind on choosing this stay. 1. If there are other guests staying in the building, the front patio is shared. So if you wanted to grill, use the patio furniture, or things that are supposed to be available to you and the other guests are using them you’re SOL. We ran into this problem more than once when wanting to use the patio. That’s not something disclosed beforehand. 2. Being right on the beach is awesome, as long as you don’t go down by the water. The closer to the water you get, the dirtier it is. The beach is not kept up with cleaning. There was trash, a dead chicken, and used needles lying around when we tried walking the beach close to the water. I didn’t want my kids down there, which almost defeated the purpose of a beach front stay. Besides those two major issues, our stay was fine. It’s a great location when it comes to getting anywhere in the LA or surrounding areas.

We had a great two-night stay! The beach view was absolutely amazing and completely unobstructed—it really made the trip special. Street parking was easy to find, even with multiple trips in and out while we grabbed groceries, which was very convenient.The neighborhood felt calm, quiet, and very safe throughout our stay. Most of all, Kim was an excellent host—very informative, responsive, and attentive without being intrusive. She checked in just the right amount to make sure everything was going smoothly.Overall, it was an awesome experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Pros: great host. She tried to save us a parking spot right next to the house which was great. If you leave it will probably be taken which means youre gonna probably have to park a few blocks away...but you're on a beautiful beach boardwalk, who cares? Spacious with a fridge and microwave. Very reminiscent of a hotel room except amazing shower and ocean/beach views. The star is the comfy day bed type thing on the porch. If you want to be on the beach and relax, stay here. Trust me.

Perfect for our little family! Our 5 year old spent HOURS playing in the sand while we hung out on the patio… it was great!

So close to the water.

The host was very accommodating, kind, and attentive. The place was the perfect location for our small family of four to recoup after 3 days at Disneyland. It was February but my Nebraska blooded kin braved the ocean for the first time and loved it! We loved that sand toys and a boogie board was available to use. We found sea glass and sea shells. We were hoping to use the giant kite but our last day got rained out. Alas, it was still so enjoyable and just what we all needed!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely suite immensely. We had everything we needed and loved our daily walks on the beach and to the local restaurants. Look forward to returning again!

It is a wonderful place to stay! The host was very welcoming and helped us in many ways, easy to contact, providing everything we could need. Very nice accommodations, very comfortable room. Quiet, safe, easy to get to, close to many restaurants and stores. It has a very comfortable covered patio facing the beach and ocean. We enjoyed it very much!

Great communication with Kim! The studio apt was very clean… beautiful view of the beach/ocean. We enjoyed some much needed down time and this was the perfect place!

Absolutely fabulous getaway. Everything we needed was already there. Close to grocery and many restaurants. The view and the ocean breeze added to the sound of small waves was mesmerizing. So grateful.

Even though the host was away on a cruise, she still kept in contact with us, making sure our needs were met for an enjoyable stay at the beach studio. There were also onsite folks to assist in any way. The studio was well stocked, handy, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Loved the ocean view, our walks along the boardwalk, quiet environment, and short drive to restaurants and other venues. A definite place for another stay!

We loved being right on the boardwalk. The space was roomier than we expected and the beds were very comfortable. Kim was great at answering any questions that we had. Will definitely be staying here again

The place has no air conditioning , the room was dirty, there were bugs flying around in the room, when I inquired about the air conditioning I was told to open up the windows and the front door, the window was stuck and there is a sign by the door that states do do leave the door open due to the walkway is open to the public , this contradicts the suggestion the owner gave me to receive ventilation. This was unacceptable and not professional!

What an amazing stay! The host was so helpful. She even saved a parking space for us. There are actually two rentals available so you can have rent both. What an amazing place. I will definitely try and book this property again.

Super location! Never in my wildest dreams would i have imagined sleeping to the sound of waves. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The owner spent a lot of time with us sharing activities in Long Beach. I grew up here but a lot has changed in 20 years! Be aware that while the owner has equipped the studio very well and tried to make it work for breakfasts, there is no full kitchen, only a microwave and a refrigerator. Wonderful outside eating area overlooking a serene,virtually private beach.

The place is bigger than the photos look. It was clean. The host was INCREDIBLE. Right on a very quite beach. The shower had the best pressure. Will definitely stay here again!

My Wife & I really enjoyed our stay on the beach, Kim was super friendly & kind, we enjoyed the amazing view of the oceanfront, we really enjoyed the beach amenities provided during our stay, would 100% book again.

The place is really nice for 2 people, it will be crowded more than that if you’re there to rest. It has a lot of supplies to be comfortable.

We had a great stay at the beachfront studio. The beach was very quiet so it almost felt like we had it all to ourselves. It was nice having a full sized fridge but doing dishes was difficult in the tiny sink so I recommend carryout because you have an ocean view from the seats on the porch! It was very nice walking up and down the boardwalk as well, a really cute area.

Great place. Just the city of Long Beach needs to clean the beach. Very limited parking. Great spot to just relax and enjoy life.

We loved our stay at this wonderful little getaway. The location was perfect for enjoying the beach, with sun, surf, and sand right at our doorstep. The only small issue we encountered was a weak WiFi signal that made streaming a bit challenging. However, this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment, and we would definitely recommend this property to others.

Excellent location

The location of this studio can't be beat, and that's the primary reason we chose to stay here. We were so busy that we basically only slept and showered there. The bathroom was a tight squeeze for three grown women, and there is no space to store your toiletries, so be aware of that. The sink in the bathroom is very tiny and if you use any dishes that is the only sink to wash thwm in.

Property was just as described. I don’t need a kitchen so this fit us perfectly. Beach literally right out the door. Easy parking and very communicative host. A+++

This studio apartment is wonderful. Kim the host is amazing. Communication was great. The bed is so comfortable and the shower was amazing. Being on the beach and watching the ships and wildlife was such a great benefit. We saw a playful pod of dolphins the very first day. We ordered food to be delivered from Vons and ate at a restaurant referred to us by Kim so the kitchenette worked for us. We would gladly stay there again if we travel n the area. Thanks Kim.

This was a great find on a very quiet stretch of beach! The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed watching the sunset and starting off the day on the great patio. As I'm not a coffee drinker, I enjoyed the variety of tea provided. I was worried about having to find street parking but had no difficulty at all. Communication with the owner was excellent and I enjoyed some conversations with her. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I booked this place for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place perfectly matched the listing and provided all the amenities that we needed for a weekend. The beach was beautiful and quiet. It felt like a private beach complete with beautiful sunsets. We especially enjoyed the patio with a variety of seating options and a gas fire pit. Kim was a perfect host - amazing communication, arranging parking, and accommodating our check in timing. I highly recommend this vacation home.

Three of us stayed in the property, as we were moving my daughter into her dorm at CSULB. It was just the right size for us since we were gone most of the day and only returned to the room at night to sleep. The location is wonderful; the beach is outside your door and the property is just a few blocks from 2nd Street (where the restaurants are). The patio had lots of lounging options for people watching. It's easy to find parking spaces on the street, and the neighborhood is clean and well maintained. The host, Kim, is super nice, very communicative and responsive. She even let us check in early! I didn't know that there wasn't air conditioning in the unit, but the host provided 2 fans and offered a cooling blanket. Lots of places in CA didnt have air conditioning; I'm wondering if that's a CA thing? Maybe locals just rely on ocean air to cool them down? Who knows - but I do know that I will stay here again because the price, location and host are top tier!

Place was as described. It was well kept. A few things to note. Not being from California, wasn't sure what to expect. The area is very popular. Parking is horrible on the weekends, at least in July it is. There is no designated parking for your stay. You may have to unload your vehicle and park several blocks away. Not a huge deal, but can be inconvenient. Owner did offer her spot for the day until the weekend traffic left. Plus side is once you have a spot it is walking distance to places to eat, the small inlet beach, which is a popular place. Would stay again for short stay, with no one who is unable to walk a lot. There is no AC either, wasn't horrible with a fan and doors or windows open to get breeze off of the beach.

Wonderful stay in Long Beach. Location was perfect, just steps from the beach & the studio apartment was clean & so very comfortable.

My wife and I spent four nights at this property as part of our vacation. Our adult daughters joined us for the last night. We were surprised by how quiet the area was. The beach was a virtual ghost town, mostly because families choose the bay side with its more lake like feel. The only people on the boardwalk seemed to be locals walking their dogs or out for a run. Kim was very welcoming and helpful, often saving a parking spot for us when she saw one open and knew we’d be needing one when we returned. Accommodations were adequate, who stays at the beach to hang out indoors anyways? Outdoor space was fantastic and mostly shaded. Would absolutely stay again!
