OCEAN BEACH, #7 ZEN, RETRO COTTAGE STUDIO, ONLY 3 BLOCKS TO THE BEACH

What an excellent place to stay in Ocean Beach, California! Very clean. Has a kitchen with a range, refrigerator, lots of amenities like dishes, coffee maker, coffee supplied, all bedding, towels, and is close to the beach. Contact with the owner is fantastic if you have any questions. We are very satisfied with our stay there. Plan on going there again next year for another vacation. Highly recommend for anyone who plans on going to Ocean Beach for a vacation. Check-in was very easy. You are given a key code by email before checking in. Very nice VRBO!

Kitchen had scratched teflon pan that needed replacing. Microwave was too high to use without a stool. Easy access to shops and restaurants and bike path.

Excellent location

I loved just about everything with this location. The only recommendation I’d give to people staying here or most of San Diego for that matter is to bring your own fan. It was a lifesaver for my girlfriend and I. The location is safe (located very close to a fire-hall) and a 5-10 minute walk from most dining options and Ocean Beach.

Although there were plenty of restaurants ad bars within walking distance there we like to cook in one or two nights and had brought food to cook with but found there were no baking dishes. Ocean Beach was amazing The people were friendly, the beach was in walking distance. We had a great stay and would stay again.

Everything was great!

I was tiny and basic, as expected. Little adorable place and it was pretty clean. Able to walk everywhere, beach, bars, shops, etc... Bring 4.75 in quarters for each load and bring your own detergent. We washed our bedding first. Parking sucks but its OB, what do you expect? I come from San Diego and this was a really good deal considering the location.

This was a perfect spot for a solo traveler! The host was very communicative when power was out upon my arrival, and the space was clean and cozy.

Everything was easy, location was great for getting to zoo, Lego land, beaches. A lot of restaurants nearby. We were happy

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here. The room was very clean and the property was walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars and the beach. The area was quiet in the evenings. Our host provided clear instructions , and checking in and out was seamless. We would stay here again.

Close to restaurants & bars. It was close to the beach. Timing was not the best in our experience there was a holiday parade so it made it very difficult to park. Overall nice place to stay for the price.

The room is exactly as it appears online. The room was clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything you need. I felt safe at all times, even when I was alone. Didn’t do much cooking but everything you need is included in the kitchen. I will stay at this location again.

The setup was great. It was perfect for a couple. You hear airplanes all day and half the night. Honestly, you can't get away from it. The whole town is located in the direct path of flights from the airport. That fact did not deter from our stay. Just fair warning for future occupants. We had a blast staying at this location.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! Clean, simple, close walk to lots of coffeeshops and food that we enjoyed. It had everything we needed for a small weekend getaway. If you are looking to cook, the kitchen is a little limited and there is no coffee grinder as is listed. This didn’t impact our stay too much, we still had a wonderful time

This rental was perfect for our stay in Ocean Beach! Walking distance to the beach and all amenities we needed were included in the apartment. Even street parking was manageable. The airport is close by so you do hear planes flying over during waking hours. The host was easy to reach and very accommodating to us. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Great stay. Cute place. Weather was warm while we were there. Little warm without A/C, but all in all, highly recommended.

We loved the place and enjoyed our time. The only thing is that the airplanes were really loud. Must be in the take off/landing path.

The cottage was great! Good location and very clean. Parking was a little tricky but I was able to find a spot 2 blocks away.

The VRBO stay was a cute little tiny home feel. We had everything we needed, however it was a little bit dusty. The location was great for a younger crowd. My husband and I enjoyed La Jolla and Coronado island. So ocean beach didn’t end up being our priority. But I think if you enjoy a free spirited place to gather you would enjoy staying here. It’s a little bit of a distance to the beach but it is right next to a grocery co op!!!

Needed a place to stay for a quick surf trip. Zen was clean easy to find and easy to check in to. More emphasis needs to be made about parking. Even though it's far from the beach it still suffers from Beach parking issues as it's street parking only. Great dogs for a single traveler and can be difficult to park close. Pro
