The condo had a great location with an excellent view of the beach, We were disappointed with the accommodation. Although it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the rooms showed their age. We also had a noisy group in the condo above us. They came in at 3 am dragging their luggage and loudly walking around. At this condo, you are definitely paying for the location and the view not the rooms.

Everything was as described, easy all the way around.

The location was clean, great for three people. Ocean front view and patio right outside the door which was nice. We were out there every night. Having a bbq on site was also nice!

Easy communication from host, Wonderful location!Great access to the boardwalk,beach, coffee shop and Belmont Park. Parking was tricky at first: tight turn, high curb and very close to the building. When the neighbor’s truck was not in the adjacent space, it was easier. Bed was comfortable and the beach toys appreciated!!Simple, straightforward beach life!We would go back!

The property manager was nice. The property is directly on the boardwalk with great ocean views. I truly enjoyed my stay—very relaxing. Everything you need is with walking distance.

The location is perfect - right on the boardwalk! Located on the southern half of the boardwalk, where it's more residential and quieter. The owner was responsive throughout the process. The kitchen was well stocked. The king-size bed was very comfy. It was a good value. Would stay here again.

The host was welcoming. I assume he lives nearby because he was very thoughtful and sent messages just in case we forgot things outside so nothing would happen to them. The place is a little dated but the views more than make up for it. I would definitely stay again.

Larry, the host, was excellent and detailed in his communication to us. The place was just like they advertised. Clean, orderly and the location to the beach was fantastic (several steps to the beach).

The closeness to the beach can’t be beat. Older unit, but clean and comfortable.

Host was excellent with communication. Views of the ocean are amazing both from living room, kitchen cafe area and of course your ocean-front patio. A grill and nice chairs and tables w umbrellas on patio. Boardwalk backs up to patio wall then the beach is right there. So convenient both to walk the boardwalk (and watch walkers, riders, dogs) and instant access to the ocean. Kitchen has what you need. Nice sized frig/freezer. Both a coffee pot and Keurig - take your own coffee and bottled water if you want it. Few spices but some. Hot water is very good but note - getting hot water in bathroom is easier if you get hot water at kitchen sink first. Bed is king sized and very comfortable to our liking. Plenty of room to unpack your bags. Nice towels for bathing. Has some beach amenities which is nice. It was chilly at night but space heater kept us warm enough. Everything is a little older but all the furniture was newer and comfortable. A perfect little beach house for the two of us.Thank you for allowing us to experience ocean front living for a few days! We would definitely rent again.

Everything was as described. Location was amazing. Comfy furniture & bed. Clean with the basic amenities you need. Parking on site, no dishwasher. Communication with the hosts was exceptional- so friendly & helpful- Definitely will stay again and happy to have found another comfy place for my frequent return visits

Location, Location, Location. While there were some minor inconveniences (parking, the host warned and provided pictures to help), the location was perfect. We could watch the sunsets from the living room, if we had wanted to. We, of course, walked to the beach and took in all the beauty. The unit had everything we needed. Was older, but was clean. If you are looking for a relaxing, chill and hang experience, this place was perfect.

The ocean view and proximity are magnificent! The patio loungers make for a very tranquil and relaxing stay. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

The place was every bit what I expected and more!

We spent 3 nights and now I wish we stayed longer. The location was amazing and we loved sitting outside taking in the view. We also had our 3 year old toddler and he loves the beach so this was a a perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful beach view from the living room. As advertised on the listing. Two beach chairs and umbrellas made the beach even nicer. Quiet neighborhood.

Loved being steps away from the ocean.

The location was perfect. The beach is literally right outside the front door. The Mission Beach boardwalk is walking distance as is Belmont Park. Restaurants were close by. Furthermore, most of the attractions around San Diego are no more than 20 minutes away at the most. Sea World is under 10 minutes away and Balboa Park is under 20 minutes. The location is the biggest plus for this property. Definitely 5 stars. In terms of the apartment itself, we really only spent the evenings at the unit which made it perfect for us. If I were being honest, the apartment itself was perhaps a little sub-average. Definitely not terrible but not the nicest either. It was OK and worked for what we were looking for. Would we stay there again? Perhaps. There were only three of us. Two slept in the main bedroom (with the king bed). This was comfortable. One of us slept on the couch pull out bed. To be fair, most pull out beds are not comfortable. And this one is no different. The pillows for the pull out should be replaced (they were very flat). But again, we only spent the evenings at the property so all of the shortcomings were minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. The property manager was very responsive. We lost an Apple Watch outside the property somewhere. One of the other guests in the upstairs unit found it and let the property manager know. He quickly notified us which was greatly appreciated. In summary, location5 stars; responsive host4 stars; apartment itself2 stars

Very quaint and provided what we needed for our stay.

The view is spectacular. The unit was as pictured.

Perfect location just steps from the sand. This cute little condo had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. Close enough to walk to restaurants but far enough to stay quiet. There’s also two markets about a block away for essentials. Perfect large patio space to sit and watch the sunset and enjoy some volleyball. Also very close to SeaWorld, downtown, or La Jolla.

We loved being able to go right out on the beach and walk to Belmont! It was very easy to check in and out. And very easy to communicate with the owner. The only issue was when the folks staying in the place next to us arrived it was quite loud - when anyone is walking or moving around in the space above you it is quite loud

Perfect location for a San Diego adventure. Just the right size for our small family of 3.

Short and sweet! Location was amazing!

Poorly constructed. Unlike the pristine pictures. It is old and badly in need of deep cleaning and painting. The front door and screen door were littered with many/possibly hundreds of dead flies; rusty grates. On bottom floor. Every step crashes

3rd times a charm!

It was right on the ocean with spectacular views. It’s true to the pictures and listing description. It was cozy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and I’m picky. There is also a great coffee shop/stand right around the corner.

We stayed here and visited downtown San Diego zoo, and the park. It was easy and we had a wonderful stay. It was cold, but there was a space heater, which did the trick. Location is great

The location was great 5 stars interior was clean and comfortable 4 stars but the view from the inside was a little disappointing because the windows were dirty diminishing the outstanding view 3 stars and the outside grill was left dirty from former users and the gas tank could not be turned off possible fire hazard 2 stars

This is a nice property steps from the beach! It is perfect for two people. Checking in was a breeze! Good communication with the owner.

Very clean and efficient. Everything was as advertised. Nice path to stroll on the front walk. Comfortable to relax and watch the waves roll in!
