Newly Renovated (9A) OSU/Central ❤NearEVERYTHING

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in August 2024 while I helped her move into her off campus apartment. The location is very good - a 3 minute drive to campus area. The outside was different than expected (a small, old converted apartment building) but not a deal-breaker. The inside was not exactly the lap of luxury but well appointed and very clean. The first night was fine. The second night was not. People were staying upstairs from us. At first (from 10 - midnight or so) we heard laughter, voices and what sounded like a herd of elephants above us. At our request, the owner asked them to keep it down, which they did. Unfortunately, it was not all their fault. Someone above us took some steps around 2:30, which woke us. And then one or more of them got up around 6:00 am and did what sounded like walking laps of the place for more than a half hour. The stomping never stopped for so long that my daughter (normally and heavy sleeper) and I got up unexpectedly early and checked out. I generally hate to write rental reviews unless I love a place but, in this case, future renters have a right to know (I believe). The paper thin ceiling/floor above make a good night's sleep nearly impossible when someone is in the upstairs unit.

The size of this unit was perfect for what you need on a vacation. It has all of the amenities that you need. Close enough to downtown area that you could walk instead of drive. We chose to drive since we had 2 younger children. Google maps takes you down an alley way to get there, but it is easy to find. Jessie let us check in early as we stated we had 2 younger children, which was a big help since we had to wake up at 3am to catch 2 flights to get to Columbus. We would stay again.

We had a group of 5 women stay here for a weekend. The apartment was spacious enough for us to all mingle and sleep (we used extra bed). It was definitely within walking distance of the OSU stadium. The only downfall was that it is situated amongst college housing and the parties went on well into the next mornings and you could hear it in the apartment. Manager had great communication with me and offered local places to visit.

Property was completely updated, clean and exactly what we needed. Communication with the host (Jessie) was SPECTACULAR....very timely, very accurate and always accommodating. I would book this property again in a heartbeat

We were in town for an event at the fairgrounds and this was a great place to stay! Full size kitchen, a great big sofa in the living room, and nice bedding. It's a quiet area to stay and close to a lot of dining. It got a little rowdy in the apartment above us but it was an OSU home game weekend so we weren't too surprised (I'm sorry whoever was staying up there! Once your party woke our baby up it was hard to get him to settle down and everyone paid for it!) Overall this was a nice safe place to stay and very convenient if you're at the fairgrounds.
