Stayed Dec 27, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The main problems were that the unit had undergone renovation and was not finished when we arrived. No covers on vents, no towel bars, workers wanting to come in on several days, very disruptive! Also, the layout of the third bedroom was changed and I was not notified that it would had bunkbeds instead of side by side queen beds. Not what I booked for an adult couple! Waiting on the management (PEXS) for a response!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Monkey Villa exceeded our expectations and our expectations were pretty high. Hazel, the concierge helped us plan on the front end, getting us tee times and restaurant reservations as well as a golf cart rental. She met us at the property and showed us around and explained how the beach club membership worked. She was a big help. The condo is spacious and comfortable and the location is very central so close enough to everything on Papagayo Peninsula. We will stay at Monkey Villa again for sure.

The condo is a great space for 6 people. Everything that you need is available. The Las Terrazas area is very well maintained and the pools are a delightful way to spend the afternoon.

Stayed Oct 20, 2021We had a great experience and would happily return to this home again! It was exactly as pictured, well maintained and clean. The Prieta Beach Club associated with the home was fabulous. Our Concierge through PEXS, Ruddy, was fabulous!! Great hospitality by all and we loved the home and location!

Stayed Nov 16, 2019Location was great! Having access to the beach club was perfect - we even saw Mick Jagger while we were there :) It would have been nice if there was a gym on-site instead of down the road. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed Feb 16, 2019The condo was terrific with incredible views. Very modern and just as pictured. We had a great time exploring Peninsula Papagayo, which is a really amazing, first-class resort area. Enjoyed the beaches, golf, nature center, and restaurants. This condo has free access to the Prieta Beach Club (about 10 minute golf cart ride away). We paid to use the Four Seasons beaches and facilities for one day, but we liked the set-up, food, and service better at Prieta. Estefania and the PEXS team were very responsive and easy to work with, and provided full service help in coordinating groceries, activities, and reservations. We will definitely be back!
