Aflora is a brand new development located in Tulum where Guests can enjoy the seclusion of our protected jungle habitat, along with the many activities offered through our cultural programming. It is an ecologically-mindful environment that creates a space that blurs the line between nature and modern living. Every part of Aflora has been crafted to provide healing and nourishment. The architecture was designed to preserve the integrity of the surrounding environment. Ouriconic entrance lobby creates a portal between Aflora and the outside world, beckoning residents, and guests to immerse themselves in the wonder of our sculptural architecture.

THE CITY OF TULUM

The City of Tulum was once known as Zama, meaning “City of the Dawn”. Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is one of the last cities inhabited by the Mayan people and was once an important trading hub, generating enormous wealth exporting jade and obsidian. Now, it is a fascinating city-museum, with well preserved temples and stunning coastal views. Tulum is home to great beaches, lush jungles, Mayan ruins, gorgeous lagoons, and an upscale nightlife.

Playa Paraiso - one of Mexico’s best beaches.

Laguna de Kaan Luum - This magical lagoon is special because of the color of its water, which alternates from a deep blue at the center to a turquoise green at the edges. The center is a deep cenote, which is estimated to be about 80 meters deep.

Gran Cenote - this sinkhole is located just a few kilometers away from Tulum, on the way to Coba. It consists of several cenotes winding along the verdant jungle floor, connected by wooden walkways.

Sian Ka’an Biosphere - home to thousands of species of beautiful plants and animals. Some of the most pristine waters in Mexico.

The Ruins of Coba - some of Yucatan’s best-preserved and most remarkable Ancient Mayan ruins.

The Mexican Riviera - one of the best places in the world to dive with whale sharks.

Cenote Caracol - The caves features dramatic, jagged stalactites, which hang from the cave ceilings and are reflected beautifully on the pools of spring water below.
