The space was perfect for two people. The host promptly responded and provided information about the area.
AMAZING! All around amazing! The host was so thoughtful with every little detail with our stay! Even down to a bag of ice! Also, so responsive. Our location was 20-25 minutes to everything Acadia and bar harbor which made it so easy to go back and forth each day. Walking distance to downtown SWH. We will 1000% be back and will be recommending everyone to stay here! Cheers! Lauren + Tom
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park and many other sites we wanted to visit. The neighborhood was easy to navigate and the apartment was easy to find. It was a safe, secure location in a safe neighborhood. I would recommend this apartment to friends and would stay here again.
The accommodations were very nice with everything as described, and Christie is a wonderful host. Combine that with an excellent Southwest Harbor location, and you have a great Acadia getaway.
We loved the space and it's walkability to southwest harbor shops and hiking. We watched the sunrise at seawall campground, a short drive away. It was a great spot to be stationed while exploring all of acadia's beauty. great host, great space, would love to stay here again!
Upon entry, we were immediately pleased. In fact, we booked again for next year during the first day. Host Christie provided supplies like soap, coffee, sweetner, TP, paper towel, cleaning supplies, 2 bags of ice, firewood, sponge, etc. Equipment included a commercial grade firepit, new heavy duty easy-to-use grill just steps outside our door, toaster oven, magic bullet for blending, electric stovetop with pots, pans, stovetop griddle, and frying pan, coffee maker, AC and ceiling fan in both the living room and bedroom, and for cooler times, small gas heaters that look like fireplaces in both rooms. But the big deal for us was the 180 view of the harbor from the deck (where we ate our meals when there) and even from the living/dining room. We could open the windows in the living/dining area on two sides and turn on the ceiling fan, and get a wonderful cross breeze. Another awesome thing was the firepit, where we made s'mores and looked up at the stars. The property is within walking distance to the main street of SW Harbor and just diwn the street from Abels Lobster Pier, which also has good pick up to 900 PM. It is also very close to many parts of Acadia National Park, including swimming area Echo Lake. Bar Harbor is just a few minutes' dri
We stayed here with my husband an our 16 year old son . Place was perfect for us. Very clean , spacious, nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable , even pull out sofa was comfortable. Host was wonderful and thought of many little things , such as coffee and pancake mix. She also was a great communicator. Location is perfect . Walk to the shops, restaurants, local museum .10 min drive to the less crowded trails and the beach. We absolutely loved this place .
Excellent property off the beaten path for anyone visiting Acadia! It’s on the quieter side of Mt. Desert Island. Cristie is an excellent host.
Fantastic! Christine is a fabulous hostess and the location was excellent!
This was a great place to stay for 5 days. Very clean and comfortable! I would refinement stay again and would recommend to all my friends.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Top Deck. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was a quiet oasis. You’re close to trails and it is an adorable little town that you can easily walk to. If you’re interested in going to Bar Harbor for a day or two, it’s just about a 30 minute drive. There are so many quaint towns nearby for you to explore. I want to also recommend MDI Lobster Co which is literally down the road; it’s delicious and has a fantastic view of the harbor. I would definitely stay again when up in ME.
wonderful!
