Stayed Mar 8, 2022I highly recommend Andrea's apartment in the center of this lovely village on Lake Bracciano. From the initial contact through the end of my stay, Andrea was in frequent communication. He offered many recommendations for things to do and places to eat and even offered to take me to the grocery store on my first day in town! From the bedroom window you can see Lake Bracciano over the ceramic tiled rooftops. Within 1 minute you are in the piazzetta and within 2 you are at the lakefront where you can walk along the water in either direction. There are literally dozens of restaurants within close walking distance and any kind of store you might need (including banks with ATMs and pharmacies). You can also catch a shuttle bus at the piazzetta to get to the other big towns on Lake Bracciano and, during the summer, there is also a passenger boat you can take. This is an amazing place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the warmth of the sun surrounded by historical buildings and ruins, near a national park, by the water, and close to great food. In the summer you can enjoy the water and beach, including various water sports, but I loved it in the quiet days of late spring.

Stayed Sep 23, 2017Andrea met us on arrival to welcome us to Trevignano Romano and his lovely apartment located within a few steps of the piazza. The apartment was perfect for us and with Andrea's guidance and local knowledge we were able to discover a region in Italy new to us. Perfect for relaxation, a local taste of Italy and convenient for exploring the region. It was a pleasure to meet Andrea and his lovely family, who did everything to make our stay perfect. We would definitely recommend this property. Grazie mille Andrea.

Stayed Aug 19, 2017Trevignano Romano is truly a little piece of heaven, nestled at the side of Lake Bracciano, about 50km North of Rome. We stayed at Andrea and Fabiana’s apartment for a week, late August 2017 and found it to be nothing short of delightful. Andrea was the perfect host, providing us with a huge amount of information about the local village and the surrounding areas – he even offered to take us into Rome on his way into work! The apartment itself is simply idyllic. It is a well-proportioned residence with all the facilities that you would wish for, but the most noticeable thing that sets it aside is the cleanliness – it is spotlessly clean! The bedroom is air-conditioned, the bathroom is of a good size and the kitchen/living room is well laid out. That said, the best part of the apartment is the balcony; offering spectacular views over the Lake. We took in the sun in the early morning whilst eating breakfast and enjoyed the much-needed shade in the late afternoon. Andrea’s apartment is truly deserving of a 5-Star rating. We loved this place so much that we’re definitely going to book again for next year! For those Brits looking for a relaxing holiday a little off the beaten track, I strongly suggest that you give this area (and the apartment) a try – just don’t tell everyone. We found the locals to be really friendly and very accommodating and that there weren’t many Brits around at all (most of the locals speak good English which we were very grateful for). The local restaurants were superb although most of the menus were in Italian only (as you’d expect); some did have English translations. I’d recommend visits to La Palma for the most perfect Pizza by the Lakeside, Gens Trebonia for some really special dishes and a bottle of wine on the jetty at La Vela. Also worthy of mention is Il Pab – a local pub serving 12 Craft Ales and a plethora of other alcoholic beverages. In a nutshell we simply loved this place. Communication from Andrea before and during our stay was first class. All of our questions were answered quickly and completely – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrea and Fabiana’s apartment to anyone.
