Was clean and comfortable. Parking is a little tricky but Uber is a good option.

The property is well located, the bed distribution and communication with the host was very good, but details like the bathrooms showers being very dirty, towels and bed linens stained, cigarette smell filtered into our floor from the nearby properties and the AC not working properly in the bottom floor overshadowed our experience.

The place it self was good! Clean and good beds, the neighbors were horrible! They were yelling and listening to music until 3:00 in the morning and then again at 6:00 in the morning. I know it’s not the owners fault but it was terrible. Could not sleep at all! They kept everyone up and then we couldn’t enjoy the rest of the stay because we didn’t have a good night sleep. If you are up all night and then sleep during the day this place would be good for you but we had my family there and we didn’t sleep at all!

What a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable, very clean, and very helpful. This charming property is located close to gas stations, food, the train station and grocery stores. We love the historic charm of this house. The hosts are wonderful and you can tell that they want to make sure your stay is perfect. We will definitely book this place again in the future.

Cute little apartment unit. Stairs to lower level are unusual, think “New England Witch Stairs” but solid and doable if not in a rush. Honestly we just used the outer door to access downstairs if we had a good time out ;-) Laundry was convenient to use and basics like coffee was supplied. Close walk to breakfast at Wakin Bakin and other spots. Walk to trolly not bad, but watch those city sidewalks!Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was so bad, we left after one day, and spent the next 2 nights in the suburbs. So much for a vacation in the city. Upon checking in, it was immediately apparent that the floors have not been swept or mopped in a LONG time. They were filthy, and we couldnt walk around barefoot or in socks, leaving our shoes next to the bed. The unit lacks places to put your luggage, and with the gross floors, we had to stack everything on the couch and dining room chairs. No toilet paper holder, nor towel racks in the bathroom. The upstairs unit had loud music during the day. (Fine.) But at night, multiple people were walking back and forth until 3:45am upstairs. There is zero sound insulation. The single AC vent blows directly onto the bed. Broken light fixtures. Broken window blinds. The messages from the manager are all automated. I reached out to the manager to ask for the floors to be cleaned, and got an automated message saying I hope you're enjoying your stay. Hours later, she said she would alert the crew And I never heard back. I told her we were checking out early. No response.

The property was a family friendly neighborhood vibe- outside of the hustle and bustle and noise of downtown. Very easy to find. Within walking distance to a yummy seafood restaurant - and Uber found us perfect every time.

The property was good. The accommodations were as described in the listing. The access to the gate from the instructions were a little confusing as to which gate to access, but ultimately figured it out. The property was a basement, and while cozy and kept, we did experience a significant about of noise from the guests upstairs...the music was very loud. The parking and access to the property was good and convenient. Overall, the property was safe and sufficient for our visit to the Big Easy. I'm not sure I would stay there again all things considered equal.

I just want to say the experience overall in New Orleans was the best I’ve had so far. Our location of choice was even better, everything within minutes away. And the place was just absolutely perfect for my husband and I. The hosts were absolutely amazing in communication. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking, but that was everywhere no big deal. Thank you Genesis for putting in thought to the home for guests and for the experience, we will Definitely be staying here again when we come back!
