Stayed Jul 13, 2024We liked that it was remote and perfect for birdwatching. The host checked up on us as we were delayed by road closures and the caretaker generously showed us around the property, pointing out good views and wildlife locations. The apartment is very roomy and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to Telluride, MUCH less expensive than the 'city', and we got to shop in the darling little grocery/BBQ place in Sawpit.

Stayed Sep 7, 2023This is one of the most magical locations I've ever stayed at. It's remote and silent. All you can hear is the wind in the trees. The scenery is stunning, and the night sky is incomparable. The accommodations were perfect for us. We absolutely loved it!!

Stayed Mar 20, 2022Our group rented the apartment along with the bottom floor in the main house. The apartment offers great views and is very spacious. For a couple or a small family (the futon sleeps two kids) looking to get away for awhile, it's perfect. The location is convenient to Telluride, or you can just spend time enjoying the surroundings on Hastings Mesa. As i mentioned in my review of the main house, the property manager and host were both extremely welcoming. My wife and I hope to come back again over the summer.
