It's located in the middle of the city centre and almost all the tourist attractions are nearby! There is a big living room, great kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and 2 comfortable bedrooms with both a king sized bed! Stayed Sep 6, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam! This apartment is in a fantastic location, close to a lot of great places! The host was very friendly and truly wanted us to have the best time! That being said, the apartment itself was a little less than advertised. The listing states that this is a “luxury apartment.” This was probably a luxury place back in 1995 but could stand to be upgraded. The apartment smelled like cigarettes as soon as you walked in. While we know smoking is popular in Europe, we just didn’t expect all the towels and bed linens to smell like someone smoked in all of them. There was also a general lack of cleanliness throughout, a vacuum could go a long way. The towels and sheets could also use an upgrade. Also, the host scared the crap out of all us by telling us that there are people that scale the outside of the building and will break in if we leave the windows open, so sadly the evenings were quite warm since there was no AC. That being said, the apartment was spacious and suitable to our needs.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Can immerse in a really nice urban canal neighborhood. Met our needs and more. OVi is a top host. Quick note: Learned from several people the old Amsterdam buildings are not allowed to install elevators. The stair flights would be difficult for older or disabled folks.

Stayed May 25, 2024The apartment was in a great location in the heart of Jordaan. The tram was right around the corner and lots of cafés, restaurants, and shops all around. Ovi and his wife could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to us and he was extremely responsive to us. They even left us some little treats! The only thing I would say that we were not aware of in the pictures was that if you have problems with steps, this could be tricky because there were a lot of steep steps to get up to the apartment.

Stayed May 6, 2024The property was in a good location but it was not as it looked in the pictures. The entrance was horrific with drywall broken and all over the floor. The place was in the 5th floor with no elevator. It was old and not in good shape at all. Calling this a penthouse and charging what they did was not right. Also, the owner met us upon arrival but insisted on coming in and spending 15 minutes with us explaining everything. A simple list of instructions would have sufficed. It was uncomfortable and if I was alone would have been unacceptable.

Stayed Apr 19, 2023This was a great home base for our girls trip to Amsterdam! Close to everything and plenty of space for us! I would stay here again!
