Modern Studio < 13 Mi to Saratoga Racetrack!

This Ballston Spa studio was comfortable, clean, attractive, bucolic and extremely well located for travel to Saratoga Springs. Michelle and Paul are amazing hosts! They went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Best of all, they are the real deal when it comes to dog friendly hosts. They went the extra mile and even better to accommodate our Westie and make sure that all of us, pup included, had an amazing experience. It’s also worth noting that the studio can accommodate three people (one using the futon) and again, Michelle and Paul were willing to allow the extra guest for our convenience. But wait - don’t book the studio just yet - we want to return there soon and hope it’s available for our return visit!

This was a beautiful property. Exactly as advertised, clean, well furnished, lovely extra touches and excellent communication with the owners. I would 100% recommend and would book again!

Studio was large, very clean and organized. It was a great fit for us since we were out with family during the day but very relaxing to come home and relax.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The space was the perfect size for us and our dog. The amenities including kitchenware, games to play, coffee/tea assortment and a smallLibrary. Finding some complimentary refreshments in the fridge were an added bonus! The property itself is very quiet and serene. It truly felt like we were in a private home. I appreciated how well the hosts communicated check in instructions and the personal touch of a welcome note with cookies. I was also very impressed with the idea of a trash can outside our door to collect used doggie bags. Everything they added to the space was very thoughtfully planned out. I’d definitely recommend this space for anyone interested in visiting the nearby area. Everything was exactly as advertised and was very pleased with our overall stay.

We stayed in Ballston Spa on our way back south after roadtripping up to Acadia National Park in Maine. We made lots of stops between home in North Carolina and our destination in Bar Harbor, and Michelle and Paul’s place was by far our favorite! Their rental studio met every one of the Three Cs: Clean, Comfortable, and Cozy. Not only was the space a welcoming environment after a full day of traveling, but they truly went above and beyond to make our the visit special — a handwritten welcome note and fresh cookies on the desk when we arrived, a basket with materials for s’mores that we could make around the outdoor fire pit, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower, and a list of local restaurants in the area. Some people just know how to host and these are two of them! We would recommend a stay at this beautiful property to anyone and are grateful for the wonderful experience!

This studio was great for our 5-day stay of two adults and one small dog. Our hosts were terrific: responsive, accommodating, and provided some handy local recommendations. The studio was spotless and quiet, with comfortable furnishings and bed. The outdoor area is ample and well maintained, with easy parking on site. When traveling, comfort is all in the details - and our hosts certainly know how to make one feel welcome and at home: with the welcome cookies, s'more supplies for the fire pit, coffee options, toiletries and extra supplies, we had everything we needed for our stay - and then some! As others have mentioned, you do need a car to get around since the studio is located in a more rural setting; though it is conveniently located within a short drive away from Ballston Spa's quaint downtown with shops and restaurants, a 15-minute drive to the Saratoga Spa State Park, and less than 30 minutes away from Saratoga Springs. The studio was a great base to explore the area, and a quiet and comfortable place to recharge for the next day. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I wanted to get away for our 30 th anniversary! We settled on the Hudson River Valley in New York. We rented the most charming modern studio for 4 nights. It was immaculately clean and the furnishings were charming and modern! There were restaurant choices for local fare listed on a guide and also some highlights of the area. The owners live on site. We did not see them but they responded to text messages quickly! The location was close to Ballston Spa and about 13 miles to Saratoga Springs, my husband and I loved the area! We would definitely make this an annual trip and would not hesitate to stay at this VRBO again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this studio! The property managers had great communication in advance and during rental. The space itself is wonderful and a great area to stay in to visit Saratoga Springs and nearby attractions. The space was comfortable, clean, quiet and the hosts had many special touches and everything you need for the stay! Highly recommend!
