North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Sleeping arrangements
The second-floor unit features four bedrooms, each with a plush bed, quality linens, and a Smart TV for private downtime. The layout comfortably accommodates up to eight guests, making it ideal for families or groups traveling together. Three full bathrooms ensure everyone has space to refresh and get ready for the day.

Kitchen & dining
A chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a Frigidaire refrigerator, electric stove, single oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee maker makes meal prep a breeze. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a dining table are provided for shared meals or quick breakfasts before heading out. Enjoy morning coffee on your private balcony or gather for dinner after a day exploring the city.

Outdoor living
Step outside to the fully gated backyard and enjoy the year-round community pool, heated from October to February. Lounge chairs and towels are provided for your comfort, and pool toys add extra fun for all ages. The patio area is perfect for relaxing or grilling on the BBQ. Free parking is available on the premises, with additional street parking nearby.

Amenities
Stay connected and comfortable with fast Wi-Fi, central air conditioning and heating, in-unit washer and dryer, and dedicated workspace. Families will appreciate the availability of a pack ’n play, high chair, and babysitter recommendations. Safety features include exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

Neighborhood
Located just steps from the Endymion parade route and a short walk to the Canal Streetcar, you’ll have easy access to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, and local favorites like Trader Joe’s. The Lafitte Greenway bike path and major hospitals are also nearby, making this a convenient base for exploring New Orleans.

    This was my second time staying at this property at it was a absolutely amazing stay. The 2 issues we had were IMMEDIATELY corrected and our stay was nothing less than 5 stars. Very safe environment and perfectly located. Highly recommend.

    Didn't like the neighborhood, NO Tvs in the bed rroms, one shiwer drain very slow and the first bathroom water Didn't get hot in the sinks Overall was ni pleased with my stay. This is the first time that I had any problems whole stay at a VRBO property.

    My group of eight enjoyed our stay. We were in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl and were close enough to walk back from the Superdome. The property is also a short Uber ride to the French Quarter and Garden District. There's room to park two cars behind the house, which was much preferable to street parking. We found that we had to space out our showers in order for everybody to have hot water, so larger groups should keep that in mind. Also worth noting is that there's no closet in the master bedroom. Communication with the property manager was excellent, and we received prompt responses to a couple of questions that we had. Overall we liked the property and would consider staying again due to cleanliness and location.

    I visited New Orleans for the Essence Festival 2022 with 3 of my friends and 2 of my family members (all females). We were VERY comfortable and enjoyed our stay in the rental. We were able to walk to tons of local bars and eateries. The canal trolley was about 6 easy walkable blocks as well as the super dome. I would highly recommend staying at this location. We didn’t have any issues with the rental, however the check in codes were not communicated in a timely manner and we spend 30 minutes trying to obtain the entrance codes. I am not sure if the codes were suppose to be texted or emailed from the property manager, who I tried to reach unsuccessfully. The owner got back to me within 10 minutes with everything I needed to gain entry. We made unforgettable memories and are already looking forward to next year!!

    This home was absolutely perfect! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. It had everything we needed, plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and a whole lot of tranquilty. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions around New Orleans. It was perfect, clean, cozy and spacious for everyone. This space exceeded our expectations and we didn't want to leave the home. Sedrick is an amazing host and we look forward to staying here again.
