Mljet Gem in Pomena!!

Our stay was wonderful. The ferry brought us right to town. The area is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The national park is easy to access and has many activities. Pavo our host was very friendly and helpful. He knew the local grocery store was closed and kindly brought us to a different town to stock up for our stay. I’m sure by May more harbor stores, bar/ cafes are open in Pomena.

Fabulous service when our ferry was redirected to a distant port- great communication and a cheap pick up arranged by a charming member of the owners family. The location is splendid.

This was the perfect spot to return to have a day walking, hiking or swimming in the national park. It was only a 5 minute walk and you’re in the park. Pomena felt friendly, peaceful and relaxed. Our hosts were friendly and responsive and did everything to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The location was fantastic, and having two balconies was great. It had all the facilities we needed. As another review noted, the walls between apartments are quite thin, but it didn't disrupt our sleep. We would stay here again.

We had a great time on Mljet and the apartment is fantastic. Had everything we needed and more. Thankyou for having us to stay, we hope to be back again in the future.

Beautiful location overlooking the harbor. In walking distance from my restaurants, bike rentals and the national park.

What a beautiful island, what a great place to stay and enjoy fresh water, air and sunshine with great food and vine! We had fantastic time and enjoyed it so much, definitely recommend it for those who love unspoilt nature , good hospitality and lots of water activities

We had a wonderful time at this place, the view from the windows and balconies is incredible. Seeing the sunset and storm in the horizon was really special! We appreciated the recommendations about the national park and the quick response to questions.

Jelena was great. I was able to check-in early when I arrived and leave my bag until my boat ride late afternoon. Very friendly hosts and gave me lots of recommendations. Thank you!

Jelena was a wonderful host. From the very second I made the reservation she was incredibly helpful with how I should get to the apartment from Dubrovnik airport. She was able to help arrange transportation and make many helpful recommendations. The apartment itself was in such a breathtaking area of Pomena. It was a perfect little port with many restaurant and food options. It was also so close to the hiking, lakes, bike rentals, and all of the other fun opportunities to explore during your stay. All for such an amazing price, I cannot give a bigger thumbs up to Jelena and her hospitality. In addition I was lucky enough to have a taxi ride with Marko, part of the family. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave me a phenomenal introduction to the area and the surroundings. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

We stayed at Jelena's apartment for a few nights at the beginning of October. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything on the photos / description. Bedroom, separate living area and bathroom. In addition a big plus for us was the clothes airer on the terrace outside to dry out swimming gear. The apartment is in a great location overlooking the harbour and near the National Park The major thing we would like to highlight is how helpful the hosts were. A storm disrupted ferry schedules. the hosts proactively contacted us. With advice on what are alternatives were for transport or accommodation. This really helped us and we were very pleased to be able to stay an extra night.

Cute apartment on the waterfront in Pomena. We just needed a calm base for hiking and this was it. Hosts responsive and helpful, allowed early check in and gave us some local tips. Close to the small shop in the town and all restaurants.
