Matapalo 603★Oceanview Studio Penthouse with a Private Jacuzzi

This is a lovely, safe, and conveniently located place to stay — much better than any hotel. The team who owns the property are very helpful if you have any questions upon arrival. It’s quiet and serene, yet just steps away from all the action of the Tamarindo strip. Plus, VERY close to the main beach of Tamarindo — less than a one block walk. Can’t beat the price for such a lovely condo with access to all the amenities you could need. looking forward to the next time I can book a stay with RPM Vacation Rentals. This place was the icing on an already wonderful trip. It was even better than my condo in Venice Beach (Los Angeles). I traveled solo, but plenty of space in the condo for even 3-4 people if you’re on a tighter budget with friends or with family. ¡QUE LINDA!

This unit works extremely well for us and with addition of new refrigerator and coffee maker it was iproved. Can't say we need much else from the unit. We could have used another cleaning day given the number pf days we stayed. Lola in RPM office is an All Star. Tremendous to work with. Can't say enough about her professionalism from reserving process and questions to end of stay arramgements. As for EL Diria, tey really need to do something abut shade around the [ool. The fight tp reserve umbrellas is reidiculous and leads to a bad taste for everyone. This is the only negative about our stay and its getting so bad it could one day cause us not to want to be at Matapalo. They really shpuld get rud of the thatched umbrellas and paut an angled shade structure around the whole perimeter of the ool. If they want to thatch that to make it look tropical , OK, but get rid of the thatched umbrellas and tables which really limits the amount of shade for a few people.

The place is great! Awesome view and very spacious for two people. Lola is a great host and very responsive. Also great to have access to pool and close to beach! Very central location in Tamarindo!

Beautiful condo, and fantastic views! We loved the hot tub on the balcony and the condo was huge!

I am reviewing the condo that is connected to the unit below. I only had access to the top unit. I am sure some rent the whole unit. It is separated by locking doors. This is a very high end unit, very well appointed. It is showing some age, but is spectacular. It is listed as a 1 bedroom; but it is a studio master suite. No door between the bed area and the rest of the unit. The patio area has an older jacuzzi tub that does work. The railings on the patio are less than 3 feet high. Great views of the ocean and mountains. The location is walkable to everything you would want to do in Tamarando. You have access to a really nice pool area. The internet is not alway reliable and has normal speeds of 50 Mbps. I always bring my own streaming device to connect to the provided TV. They do have some access to Netflix and the like. The bed is firm and comfortable. The elevator worked for my entire stay. There is a security guard at the gated entrance. Overall a super place to stay.

lovely spacy apartment fully equipped. the service both from the local concierge and the rental company is friendly and efficient. personally we would have preferred some type of blinds to reduce the light in the morning as the sun comes up very early but that was a quick fix with our sleeping masks. definitely recommend

Great little condo. Communication was top notch. Would stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Everything was great. Could maybe use a cutting board. We went to the market and cooked a lot. Will stay there again

The pros, great view with hot tub on a large patio that overlooks the pool. You can also see the ocean from the balcony as well. Thr cons were that nobody told us the correct door to open to get to the condo, we were given a door code for 603, we went to the 6th floor and opened 603 like anybody would. We then realized we walked in on another family's condo, we walked out, called RPM's 3 different phone numbers with no answer. We then went to the 7th floor and figured out our room was on the 7th floor, also labeled 603. Basically it's the top floor of the same condo, which I knew, but nobody told us to go to the 7th floor to get to it. Also weird we had the same code as another family, that's not really safe. Other than that, condo was clean and we had an amazing time
