Stayed Dec 7, 2024A beautifully set up unit - great for 2 people, we had 3 of us and it was a little awkward - we made it work, but wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night with more than 2 people. Great amenities provided, decent sized fridge, coffee machine and milk frother etc, but if you're a foodie and thinking of doing lots of cooking you probably want to bring some extra things (sharp knives, pots, oven trays...). Overall we loved it.

Stayed Feb 15, 2026Lawerence was fab, he helped our wobbly check in due to enjoyment the Matakana Pub and then allowed for a late check out. The outside bath and fire were magic. Within a short stroll to the Matakana Willage so very convenient.Would absolutely recommend to any couple wishing to Get Away and reconnect. Magic in Matakana. Well be back...

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Excellent location and very comfortable. The brewery was right across the street but we heard absolutely no noise from them whatsoever. The farmers market is a very short walk down the main road, and there's a supermarket nearby in case you need anything. You've also got multiple great dining options within easy walking distance. Be sure to check out Goose Bakery!
