Stayed Jan 21, 2026Staying at the Margarida House Stone apartment was excellent!From the minute we booked the apartment, to arrival, to departure; the host was attentive and helpful. I strongly recommend this apartment even if you don’t have a vehicle to travel to and from. You are surrounded by many local shops and activities to enjoy!

Stayed Nov 27, 2025We had a wonderful one-week stay at Margarita House. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, and we especially appreciated having a bathtub—a rare treat in Europe! The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept so well. The views from the apartment were beautiful, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, a lovely stay that we’d happily recommend.

Stayed Sep 17, 2025Great location of this 3rd floor apartment that we used as a base to explore the central and western side of the island. Walking distance to a walkable beach, several casual restaurants, supermarket, laundromat. Apartment itself is good size, comfortable space, nice patio. Have to walk up 3 flights of stairs, no elevator, which worked well for us. Would stay here again.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025A lovely one bedroom apartment. On the top floor, so nice views of the mountains from the terrace. Very well equipped. Alvaro was always there to answer any queries. We were very comfortable on our 11 night stay. Very central location in Ribeira Grande, so easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. We LOVED Sao Miguel, and will be back!
