Stayed Apr 10, 2025This listing was titled “luxury oasis”. There wasn’t anything luxury but it served its purpose. It was very close to downtown, shopping, dining, etc. The neighborhood is very rundown and outside of the property is not well maintained. Overgrown grass, uneven steps, trash and debris all around. It was very quiet though and no issues with neighbors. The house was not dirty but just not luxury as it may look in the photos. It smelled terribly of smoke. The host was very responsive and kind. Without the awful smoke smell I could look past the exterior and stay again, but feel the listing title should be more realistic. Luxury oasis should be reserved for high end listings in my opinion.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025It was my first time in Dayton, so I wasn’t familiar with the city. Initially, I was a bit concerned when I arrived, but after spending three days there, I realized the entire city looked pretty much the same. I felt completely comfortable. The neighborhood mainly consisted of families and was very quiet, making me feel safe. The apartment was clean and recently remodeled. The host was very helpful and responsive, and I appreciated that no high fees were associated. The only thing I think is important to mention is that there are several steep stairs you must go up to enter; it was a little challenging, but we managed.
