Stayed Sep 19, 2025Went for a weekend and spent most of the time reading and writing on the beaches. Late September was a beautiful time for this time of Durres as it was not too crowded at all and the weather was ideal (80sF and sunny day time, 60sF and clear night time). If you’re looking for night life (clubbing), I would book in Tirana, but for a relaxing getaway where you can get wine and cocktails in the evening, this was perfect. We had no outside noise except for the occasional motor rev which is to be expected on any city in my opinion but the building was quiet and neighbors were nowhere to be seen. The elevator worked fine but the apartment is only on the fourth floor so we took the steps no problem every day. There is a walking path right by the beach and multiple small markets and a pharmacy all within 5 minutes walking. The host was very communicative and made sure we could find the property as well as reminding us of checkout policy before we left. One thing worth noting is that, as stated in amenities, there is no safe. Definitely recommend!
