Description

The one bedroom apt. is on the third floor, in the back of a 1924 building. It overlooks the yard and garden areas. It's very quiet and private space to unwind after a day exploring the City by the Bay. The area is full of amenities, such as 24 hour buses, grocery stores, banks, post office and cafes. The bus is only one block walk and 15 minutes to the Downtown shops and tourist attractions. It is a 10 minute walk to Baker Beach, Presidio National Park , Golden Gate Bridge and Park areas.>
The bedroom has one queen size bed and a large walk in closet along with a night stand, dresser, table and chair.

The large living room has a futon and a dining table with chairs, walk-in closet and it overlooks the yards, gardens and distant mountains.

The kitchen has a small table to eat and prepare foods, refrigerator, gas range and oven, and a stainless steel sink. It has pots and pans, dishes and utensils.

The private bathroom has a shower over tub, towels and basic soaps.

The moment I walked into the door I noticed stained, dirty, smelly carpet from the foyer to my apartment door. The pics of the inside of the apartment of the bedroom and living room are accurate, however, the kitchen floor was dirty, the refrigerator was absolutely filthy with crumbs and stains everywhere, and the bathroom was dirty. The tub was rusty and rusty water initially flowing from the pipes. The white towels provided were dingy, thin, and dirty. The host did provide new towels upon request (don’t know why that even had to be a request). The hot water was luke warm at best with maybe 2 days of it actually being hot out of 30 days with one of those days being the day after I complained. The wifi initially didn’t work but he fixed it after I complained. The host was nice. The bed was comfortable once I cleaned and sprayed everything down. There is no real trash can in the kitchen. A paper bag was placed in the kitchen as a trash can. I truly felt ripped off. I’ve been traveling for work for years and this is by far the worse place I’ve ever stayed. There has to a type of policy and easy access to a contact for situations like this. This place should not be allowed to even be on Vrbo let alone for the price that was charged!
