Stayed Aug 22, 2023Cozy little loft apartment approximately 15-minute drive from Maiori in an absolutely gorgeous setting. We rented a car in Rome and used it as a home base to explore the coast. Didn’t realize until we got there that it was part of a larger holiday house with other units, but the family on the premises is very friendly, unobtrusive, and helpful. Just more of a bed-and-breakfast vibe (without the breakfast) than what we expected from the listing. Very clean, cute, and well outfitted. Only big flag is that our unit did not have air conditioning. And we were there in August when the temperature was regularly in the high 30s (Celsius). After the first semi-sleepless night, we asked for a fan and received one, which improved the airflow considerably. The family also owns a restaurant (Puchetella) steps away from the accommodations that, honestly, probably deserves at least two Michelin stars if it doesn’t already have some. Absolutely spectacular food, service, and atmosphere. For that reason alone, we were glad we stayed here. The town of Tramonti is close by but really not much there to see. You’ll be driving down to Maiori or across to Ravello to start your day(s) for sure. If you’re looking for a nice place for 2-3 nights, this is an awesome spot and priced well. If you’re looking for more long-term accommodations, you may want to consider something in one of the major coastal towns.
