Stayed here for the second time and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Spent my big 50th birthday and had the best birthday. We went to Helmsley for my birthday and the village was super Christmasy and the back to the lodge and celebrated with a bottle of fizz in the hot tub what better way to spend your birthday

We have stayed at Hollicars several times now. First time in Kingfisher lodge. We had everything we needed for a family of four and throughly enjoyed our stay in a very clean and homely lodge. Thank you.

Our 2nd stay in Kingfisher Lodge and we enjoyed it just as much as the first despite the changeable weather! We love the seclusion and privacy of the lodge and it is spotless and provides you with everything you need. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Spotlessly clean and a bit different, in a good way, to other lodges we have stayed in, Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Lovely walks around the site and so very peaceful.

The lodge was perfect, lovely views. Really nice place. Hot tub was relaxing and very clean. Very peacefull. We enjoyed coffee & cake in the tearoom.

Being out of the way of life’s stressful ways

Peaceful location, surrounded in nature. Top class lodge accommodation, beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard. All staff on the park were very warm, welcoming and helpful without interference.

Gorgeous cosy and clean

The size of the lodge was perfect for a family of 4 and the hot tub made it extra special. The showers were powerful, the beds comfortable, a lovely large dining table and a perfect kitchen. It is also in a great location to get to York City centre.

The lodge was perfect, such a nice place to stay for a few nights and so close to York, but so peaceful. The hot tub was also huge, I think an 8 person tub, managed to get a perfect position for looking up at the stars. Hollicarrs was also a lovely place to be, wonderful walks in the woods, managed to see a couple of deer roaming. The staff in Reception were lovely and answered all our questions.

This was our 1st time staying at the Hollicarrs and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in the Kingfisher lodge for 6 nights and it was out of this world, the perfect lodge for a romantic and relaxing holiday. Everything was thought off and we didn’t need anything. The hot tub was great especially on a night so peaceful. The two bathrooms were a bonus we had his and hers showers. We will definitely return for our mini moon in 2026 if not sooner. Thanks for helping us make some lovely memories.

Lodge was lovely and clean, the area was so peaceful and nice to go on walks in the forest . Staff who we met was friendly Excellent location

A very Romantic Lodge, especially the 4 poster bed and the bottle of prosecco for my Birthday and balloons too! There's an amazing large roll top bath with walk in shower! The decking area has a sunken hot tub and is very private with views over the pond. The Lodge has everything you need, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We have stayed in a few different lodges, but this has Romance writing all over it! You will nit be disappointed! ?
