Please be advised that this space is a single studio with a private bathroom, separated from the rest of the home. This is a first-level studio apartment in a multi-unit building. There is a passage door in this unit that connects it to another studio, but it is securely locked from both sides. Ask about booking both studios if desired!
Within walking distance there are numerous restaurants, including Tacos+Tequila, Cotton and Rye, Sentient Bean, Shuk and so much more! It's about a 10 minute drive (or a cheap Uber ride) to River Street and about a 25 minute drive to Tybee Island.
Parking: There is free, on-street parking available in front of the unit, which is common in the downtown area. There is usually ample parking available directly out front, however it is first come first serve, and there are no reserved spaces. We cannot guarantee parking spaces, or enough space for trailers, U-Hauls, boats, etc. Please be advised of weekly street cleaning - there are signs that indicate when cleaning takes place. If you happen to stay during street cleaning hours, simply park around the corner for a different schedule.
Quiet Hours: This is a residential neighborhood. Please be advised that we ask all guests to respect 10PM quiet hours every night of the week. Any violations may result in a formal report on the booking platform and or an early termination of your reservation.
Any unapproved late checkouts may result in additional fees.
There is a $50 shipping fee for any items that you leave behind and need shipped back to you.
This listing is a great fit for those traveling alone, or couples looking for a romantic retreat to experience all that Savannah has to offer! If a residential neighborhood full of art students and a diverse cultural range is outside of your comfort zone, then we suggest alternate arrangements. A great deal of consideration and effort has been made to offer a luxurious and comfortable alternative to the hotel experience in this eclectic city. If you have any inquiries regarding the suitability of this listing for your intentions, we'll be happy to discuss it with you further!
Great location and clean room.
The property is in a weird location - next to an abandoned diner - and the street isn't much to write home about. However, open the door and you find an impeccably decorated flat. It was perfect for my stay (which was kid-free). The space was relaxing and comfortable. The flat is within walking distance of Forsyth Park but the street itself is a weird mix of homes that have been rehabilitated and others where you might expect Boo Radley to live. The family that lives in the larger parts of the building can be a bit loud - kids running across the floor and voices but generally things quieted down at a reasonable times. Also, the parking was no problem at all. Everyday that I was there, I was able to get a spot directly in front of the building.
Room was great. We walked everywhere. Good experience
We enjoyed our stay! It was our first time savannah. The bathroom/shower was amazing loved it. I wish we were a little closer to everything but it was a nice place. The walls were fairly thin so we heard everybody around us and the other people staying we could here every step from them but we still enjoyed it overall! We would stay again.
Very nice and charming apartment, great for a get away with your spouse for some quite time.
Overall we had a good experience
