Independent apartment 700 meters from the sea with panoramic views

Great apartment, wonderful hosts and great views. We really enjoyed it.

This rental unit is exactly as pictured. It has 2 very large bedrooms, a large bathroom with a tub, a small updated kitchen, and a great balcony. Note that there is no living room in this apartment. However, this is not really a problem as we were there to enjoy the beaches and had no need for a living area. This was the only rental we had in Italy that actually had a tub and not just a shower! The host provided some breakfast items, milk, and water which was a sweet touch. However, it is a bit difficult to find. It is located up on a hill in Santa Maria Navaresse, so you will need to have a car to reach it. The home is located off of a gravel road with several houses that cannot be seen from the road. While there were some markings near the road, they were not understandable in order to accurately find the house and we ended up going to the wrong house, but thankfully they pointed us in the right direction. It would be helpful if they provided more clear markings on which driveway to use to access the property. Overall it is a great location as it is a short drive from the beach, supermarket, and restaurants.

The house is charming and has a really wonderful view of the sea. The owner - Ignazio, is very kind and nothing is a problem. Despite the fact that he only speaks Italian (we don't speak Italian), we somehow agreed on everything. There is a large selection of all types of beaches all around. The town is pleasant, rather quieter, but it has its own charm and we really liked it. Everything you need is there. We drove by car, we have small children, it's quite an uphill walk. But problem-free parking everywhere. At the time of our vacation there was a techno music festival in neighboring Arbatax (across the sea), lots and lots of loud music until the morning. We recommend finding out and avoiding this term. But that was for two days, otherwise it was quiet. We can highly recommend. Peter and his family.

The apartment was a great home base for our stay in Sardinia. The view from the balcony is absolutely incredible, with the sound of the churchbells and sea breeze. The apartment itself is perfectly functional, and Ignazio was a very responsive host.

Perhaps one of the best locations for a stunning view over the bay of Santa Maria Navarrese. The hosts were very charming and their place is certainly a very good recommendation. Gorgeous flowers! The address was a little bit hard to find, perhaps a sign on the street could be helpful. Anyway, we finally found it and had a wonderful stay.

Our stay at Santa Maria Navarrese and at Marianna’s apartment was even better than we expected. The apartment is well equipped and spacious and we were welcomed with a bottle of delicious home-made wine. We especially enjoyed our meals on the balcony with the nice view and the sometimes even nicer breeze. Santa Maria Navarrese is a lovely village with nice beaches and a good starting point for hiking tours. We stuck to tours which were relatively close by (1-2 hours drive) because although the streets are in good shape there are a lot of turns and it takes a while to make real progress. But there are also a lot of beautiful scenic views. We really enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend both the apartment and the village for a quiet and restorative holiday.
