Excellent location, spacious and clean

The house had everything we needed for our trip with two young children. Very close to all the great restaurants and shops downtown. Easy access to the park as well. Very clean and comfortable for our stay .

Kitchen was well equipped. Furniture was quite shabby. Locations was excellent!

Can’t beat the location!! Great spot with a super friendly host! Appreciated the baby travel crib for our 4 month old! Hope to be back!

This property is wonderful with comfortable beds and a lovely set up. We loved staying there and highly recommend others stay there. It is close to the Village Green, a variety of restaurants, and the harbor. Everything is walkable. Owner Susan is lovely and easy to deal with.

This was a very cozy and comfy place to come back to after some long, cool, and sometimes rainy hikes and outings. Location is great as you can walk to all of the great places in Bar Harbor while staying on quite street. Susan was a great host who was very responsive and friendly. If we ever make it back to Bar Harbor, I would definitely stay here.

Staying here when I visit Bar Harbor is always a treat. The property lives up to its description. It’s located a short walk to all the action in town but on a quiet side street and inside has all the comforts of home away from home. It was spotless and everything worked. There was even coffee in the cupboard!

Perfect downtown walkable location. The house was so cute and comfortable for 3 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner a couple nights, and it was a great perk to be able to do a load of laundry too. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent a very nice week staying here. The apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and in an excellent location with a perfect parking spot right outside the door. The only recommendation I would make to the owner is to put a mirror in the bedrooms.

We have rented in Bar Harbor for many years. This home is lovely. The location is perfect. A few short blocks to Village Green one direction and a few short blocks to the playground the other direction. The home is as advertised and worked great for our little family!

This property has plenty of room for a family group of five or six people. We were able to gather and yet also find private space throughout the day.The Home is very well stocked!

This place was wonderful. So well located to explore downtown Bar Harbor, nearby access to the Shore Path, and very easy to drive into Acadia. Loved having a local spot so we didn't have to compete for parking downtown! Easy walking to lots of restaurants and shops. It was also well furnished and well-stocked. Had everything we needed for us and our toddler for a week! Would definitely stay again.

The place was exactly what we needed for my family and the location was so close to everything (Bar Harbor and Acadia). Susan was also very communicative and great to work with throughout the whole process.

The place was perfect for 3 nights for our active family of 4. It is convenient to restaurants, shops, waterfront, outdoor equipment rentals, and it was a moment’s drive into Acadia. We can’t wait to return!

The house is as advertized and is in a perfect location. Just 1/2 mile to the pier. It has everything you need for a stay. The remodeled kitchen is gorgeous. Off street parking is a must so close to downtown.I would recommend it without reservation!

We had a terrific stay. We loved being near downtown, walked to get coffee every morning, and enjoyed our evenings reading in the living room. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely place, great location and well equipped.

My husband, 2 year old son, and I throughly enjoyed our stay here! It was well appointed and even had toys for our son! The wooden blocks kept him busy in between our ventures out around town and to Acadia National Park. You can easily walk through downtown Bar Harbor and to a playground at the Mount Desert Isle YMCA. Only a block from the start and finish of the YMCA Acadia Half Marathon. If we could give 10 stars, we would!

The location could not have been better for a Bar Harbor stay. We were able to explore the town and get to restaurants and the grocery store easily on foot. It was a great home base for our Acadia trip.

My friends and I planned a girls trip to Acadia National Park, and Susan’s home was perfect for both exploring the hiking trails and the beautiful town of Bar Harbor. It’s a few steps from Main Street, and made for great nights out to dinner or days shopping the town. The home itself was very clean and the perfect size for the three of us, and we made so many lovely memories there. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay, and we will certainly be back :)

This was a great property! So very clean throughout. The location could not be more convenient… walk to anywhere In downtown Bar Harbor and a very short drive to mailing within Acadia National Park. Highly recommended

Had a lovely stay and Susan was a great host, highly recommend!

The apartment is in a great location, with parking on site, and it had a lot of character. We generally enjoyed our stay, but the very detailed instructions we received before we arrived made us a little nervous, making it hard to fully relax. The bedrooms were much smaller than we were expecting - as there was just two of us, we managed OK, but it would have been difficult with any more people. Also, a small point, we are always willing to be helpful, but we did consider it a bit of an imposition to ask us to change the (out of date) battery in the smoke alarm (the host did provide the battery).

Perfect location for access to hiking, food, and all our adventures in Acadia.

It was very relaxing with all the amenities for a wonderful stay in Bar Harbor. Close to the town center but quiet and nice neighborhood. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Susan was very helpful and communicated well! We absolutely loved the sweet cottage apartment and the location in Bar Harbor. Whether walking the shore path, heading to explore Bar Island at low tide, or taking advantage of pajama day sales—proximity to downtown couldn’t be beat! Also a fabulous launching point to Acadia where we enjoyed showing our four year old our favorite sights!

This comfortable apartment on a quiet side street yet near all the action of central Bar Harbor is fully equipped and served as the perfect home base for my trip. The owner was delightful and was quick to respond to my few questions. I couldn't be happier with my stay there.

We recently stayed at this property and had an overall pleasant experience. The home is in a great location, close to Acadia National Park and is well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and everything we needed for our stay. The space was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The photos do not do the property justice. While the host was very responsive and friendly, they have a lengthy list of cleaning/check-out responsibilities that created high expectations and made the post-stay interaction a bit stressful. Overall, a great place to stay, but be sure you allot time to do some extra cleaning before your departure.

Susan’s place was comfortable, clean and convenient to Acadia and just steps to Bar Harbor’s Main Street. Walkable to shops, restaurants and a grocery store and just 15-20 minutes to Acadia entrance. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for a preparing few meals after long days of exploring. Highly recommend this classic home.

Everything was fine!

Everything was great about the place. Super charming and clean. Some of the furniture was a bit worn but functional. Close enough to walk into town but far enough to avoid noise and crowds. Would highly recommend!

Property was perfectly located yet on a quiet street. We could walk to everything in town and Acadia was a less than 10 minute drive. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. We loved the updated full kitchen and laundry (new washer and dryer!). Susan was a wonderful host. We were sad to leave but will be back!
