Stayed Dec 31, 1969We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully restored and decorated apartment in the heart of the small unspoiled village of Palaia. Enrico and Donatella were extremely helpful and welcoming, with lovely touches such as Donatella's delicious apple cake, fruit and welcoming nochio and biscotti. The apartment is immaculate and quiet, big enough for our family of 4 (with 2 children) and it was great having internet access (which also came in handy as a quick translation tool since we spoke little Italian and Enrico and Donatella spoke little English)! We would certainly recommend this accommodation as an atmospheric home base for day trips to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano etc. by car.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Absolutely beautiful. Enrico and Donatella were wonderful, perfect examples of the famous Italian kindness. On arrival we were immediately made to feel at home, with little added extras. We spent Christmas and New Year in the apartment and really felt at home. And the apartment is spotless. The area is very quiet, it's easy to park the car, if not in front of the house, in a free car park nearby and a few steps from the house leads you to unsurpassable views over the tuscan hills. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Accomodation was accurately portrayed on the internet, photographs reflected the property well. Cleanliness - Immaculate in every respect. Noise - none to report Surroundings - village was idyllic and natural, not at all touristy, just what we wanted. Stunning scenery, perfect in every respect. Enrico and Donatella made us so welcome with many touches. A full fruit bowl, food and welcoming messages. Such a joy to meet them and stay in their village and experience a taste of Tuscan life. Thank you.
