IN SICILY, AMONG THE MAJESTIC AND ENCHANTING TAORMINA ETNA

This was our first time to Sicily. We stayed 4 nights in a 2-bedroom apartment in October 2013. The lovely apartment is very well furnished, clean and neat. It has a pc, so one does not need a laptop, and has wifi. There is hoist in the stairwell so that we did not have to carry our bags up or down the stairs. The owners, Tiziana and John, are amazing and lovely people, they are extremely helpful, caring, going out of their way to make sure our needs were taken care of. The first day we got lost and could not find the building, ended up at a petrol station. Called John and he came immediately on his scooter to lead us to the apartment. John gave us valuable tips on places around. This is a good base to explore the eastern part of Sicily. We had a car and the location was really convenient. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We would love to stay again should we return to Sicily and certainly will recommend it to our relatives and friends who plan to visit Sicily.

It is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. We had a car, the location really convenient being just about by the E45/A18 highway. There is hoist in the stairwell so that we did not have to carry our bags up the stairs. We stayed here for 10 nights in October. It is a beautiful 2 bed apartment, with the ability to sleep up to 8 I would say. It is in a really authentic Sicilian neighbourhood, with a butchers/Grocers just around the corner. The beach is 10 minutes walk away. The owner was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Really hope to return some day. All amenities you should require are there and the WiFi is very helpful aswell. Thank you , J+E+G

A great location for site seeing, well equipped apartment. More than enough space for the four of us with a lovely balcony. It is a true taste of sicily, friendly owners, no issues with our noisy young boys. You can walk to the beach in ten minutes and it is right next to motorway so easy to find.i really loved the feel of this place, was like having all the home comforts whilst on holiday. Even fresh picked fruit awaited us. It made a first trip back to sicily with my children much easier.

we had such a good time here, the owners are very kind and helpfull. the rooms are nice. bathrooms (2) also good. kitchen fuly equiped!

Although we weren't able to stay in the room originally booked, we had a very nice two-bedroom apartment. It was very clean, had a wrap-around terrace and all the modern conveniences, even a washing machine (!), which, unfortunately, we didn't need at that time. A pleasant surprise was a computer in the apt. The owners were extremely helpful, telling us where to shop and eat and park in Taoramina. The apartment's location right off the autostrada made it easy to find, even without a map! I recommend this apartment.

Excellent value for money. Easily accesible by public transport and easy to move around. We visited Taormina, Castelmola, Messina, Catania all by bus. At night we could go eat at lungomare di Giardini, there are a couple of good restaurants, ice cream shops and nice promenade for an evening walk. Owner was very helpfull in fact, she gave us directions and very good recomendations ! I would definitly go there another time! Thank you Tiziana

Tiziana and Giovanni are wonderful hosts. They make you feel right at home in their mansarda  appartment which has all the commodities you could hope for. So much so in fact that our boys commented that they could easily live in Sicily in the appartment which they loved. The appartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms but enough sleeping space for at least 7! The kitchen has all you need, cooking was a treat (we made a nice pennette con tonno alla rosea.) One of our favourite things was the terrace where we could lounge, sunbake, eat, relax and enjoy the spectacular views! Etna's eruption was a great treat for all of us especially the kids. If you're looking for an appartment with space to spare, a home atmosphere and warm and helpful owners, this is the place. Thank you Tiziana and Giovanni!
