Completely renovated with care, in typical rustic Tuscan style, with wooden beams, bricks and exposed arches, it preserves the remaining architectural aspects of an ancient convent of Franciscan friars from the end of the 18th century.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025A superb and stand-out and historic oasis in the old port quarter of Lavento. Only on our radar to launch our early ferry dept and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer to enjoy this immaculately presented home.

Stayed May 17, 2023This is a wonderful place to stay while in Livorno. The hosts are stellar. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are filled with amenities usually not found in the VRBOs I have been in. We lost our accommodations in Venice due to water damage and could not find another comparable location of an affordable price due to it being so short notice. We chose Livorno, it being close to Florence which was our next stop. What a good decision it was! I can not say enough good things about The Little Eden. It was terrific and the patio a great added bonus. Beatrice and Jack are superb hosts!
