Stayed May 13, 2024Firstly I want to say, the property was very nice, well appointed, clean, in a nice spot right off the Main Street of San Remo. The owners were very nice and friendly and fair with us the entire time. Positives. Great location for shops and the town Has parking on site Very pretty building Property was well decorated, looked recently done Was very clean and tidy Owner’s have great communication and met us at the property when we arrived. Negatives Noise - The apartment above has someone living there who has hard floors and walks around in heels. It starts at 4:00am and goes on until 9:00am and then continues in the evening until late. It was like Chinese water torture after a while clip clop clip clop clip clop. We booked for 3 weeks but we had to leave after 6 nights and move to a hotel that we have used before. The owner was very understanding about the situation. It’s such a shame as we liked the location and the apartment overall. Apartment Washing machine but no dryer, and it’s a basement so it’s not like you can hag your cloths out of the window. No shelves in bedroom for things when in bed. It’s tight in there but a small shelf on each side would be very helpful There is no wardrobe in the bedroom to put your cloths, so we lived out of our suitcases. There is a unit in there which looks like an antique writing desk. They should get rid of that to make room for a much needed wardrobe There are no hooks to hang things on. Water boiler is way too hot
