The apartment is in a small fishing village/town with lovely bars and restaurants that are full of Sicilian families on holiday. There are hardly any non-Italian tourists which was ideal for us. The sea is crystal clear which is great for snorkelling and it’s quite literally 1 min from the apartment! It’s an ideal location for 3-4 days and a great base for seeing Syracuse and Ragusa. A fantastic find!

Amazing stay

We stayed in Marzamemi for our 40th wedding anniversary. The host was incredible and toured us around the town and gave us direction for food, gelato etc. It was quiet, relaxing, great swimming, well equipped unit. We shopped and cooked great italian cuisine. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops. We were able to get to several touring sites from there. You could easily walk into town for a night stroll and enjoy the music and atmosphere or spend a quiet night on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. I cant say enough about this place! Highly highly recommend.

Our time at the House on the Sea in Marzamemi was simply unforgettable. The house itself is beautifully appointed, with an elegant yet relaxed style that immediately made us feel at home. Light, airy, and breezy, it’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind.Marzamemi is a charming fishing village that surprised us with its culinary diversity. While it retains its authentic Sicilian character, we enjoyed a range of excellent restaurants, from fresh seafood spots to places serving global cuisine. The locals were incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile or helpful tip, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay.The property manager was also a pleasure to deal with—responsive, kind, and clearly invested in making sure guests have a wonderful experience. All in all, House on the Sea is a true gem on the Sicilian coast. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!Highly recommended!

Stunning property with fantastic ocean views, beautiful sunrises and walking distance to quaint town of Marzamemi. Very clean and contains all home conveniences. Balcony provided excellent views of the sea and water is so clear you can see down to the bottom from the balcony. Thanks for sharing your special piece of paradise with us. We had an awesome time

Very kind host and great location right next to the water and in walking distance to the lovely fisher‘s village center of Marzamemi. Highly recommendable

The apartment is lovely. Clean and stocked with necessities. Calming views. Close to a small fishing village. The only problem is the hot water tank. Very difficult for two people to shower back to back, not enough hot water.

A very nice Appartement, with everything needed for four people. Our host Alfina and her whole family are wonderful people. Marcos small market, where we got everything for breakfast and to fill unpässlich the fridge is only across the street Im Marcamemi, around ten walking minutes,we found a nice atmosphere and a few good restaurants. We had air conditioning and good wireless. Sitting on the little Terasse, water in front of the door, enjoying a glass of wine was just beautiful I will tell my friends to go there too
