Best location, amazing host, beautiful apartament!!!!! Communication was great , all my questions were answered, what can I say.... I'll be back! Thank you so much for making my stay in Brasov an amazing experience.

Very easy access, the owners response is quick, the property is above the Piata Sfatului, view of the Plaza and Black Church. Super center and all the restaurants and shopping is right there. Easy access to rope street and Tampa mountain. Summertime you will need some ventilation and the use of the blackout curtain, the remote is mounted on the wall by the windows btw. There is a full spa next door and we had a great massage. The property is fully loaded with all kitchenette. There is a washer and also a dishwasher and an iron is outside by the hallway. Could be useful to put together a little welcome booklet on how to use the appliances and window curtains, we figured everything out in 2 days but for the ones they only staying for couple of days so they don't waste time with the german appliances/booklets :) This is our second time staying there and we love it. We will definitely come back again! Thank you!!

My family and I stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in July 2015. It was great. The apartment is centrally located in the heart of the public square and walking distance from everything. We parked our car the day we arrived and never used it until we left. The apartment is super clean and very functional. Tons of TV channels in Romanian and English. My personal favorite part was the shower, and the 'rain' showerhead - awesome! We stayed with small children which wasn't a problem at all. My only caution is for those that may want a quieter location; the 3 nights we stayed, the square was set up as a movie theater and showed movies each night projected on a huge picture screen . The volume was quite loud. One night, the movie dragged on until almost 1am. Outside of that, everything was perfect.

We thought that our winter vacation is almost ruined after a failed night in a hotel in Poina Brasov that our 1.5 year old toddler didn't like at all. But we managed to book this apartment for the following nights and everything turned just perfect. The location is fantastic and as central as it can be, with the view over the Piata Sfatului and the Black Church, just next to the pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and shops. Every morning we saw an amazing sunrise and lots of pigeons that our son was happy to watch the first thing in the mornings. As it is in the center, it's a bit difficult to find a parking place, but Kinga, who was in charge of meeting us, was so nice to join us to the nearest parking place and help us with the parking. It is also very close to Poiana Brasov (just 15 min drive), so we easily managed to go to the slope every day. The apartment is also very comfortable, luxurious and clean, with well equipped bathroom and kitchen. We were especially happy about the kitchen as I managed to cook some basic food for my son who turned to be allergic to the restaurant food that we tried the previous day. They also gave us a mobile phone with a local number so that we could call them for any questions, which was really helpful. For our next trip to Brasov or Poiana Brasov this is the only accommodation that we are going to consider. Many thanks to the owners and the girl who met us! We will definitely visit Casa Mandl again!

I can't even begin to do this apartment justice. We stayed for 3 nights with our 22 and 15 year old children. We wish we were staying longer. The apartment is actually even better than in the photographs on line if that can be believed. It overlooks the main square and waking to a blanket of snow, it just looks like a scene from a fairytale. We enjoyed catching the bus to the nearby skiing area, wandering around the old town and eating Langos and drinking vin fiert from the Christmas markets right outside the front door. The apartment is actually very very spacious. It was more than big enough for the 4 of us. It even has a washing machine which we found to be a real bonus. The beds are comfy, the apartment is toasty warm, the decor lovely, the shower amazing. If there is a better place to stay in Brasov I can't imagine it.

This VRBO rental was ideally located in the historic centre of Brasov and was a very well resourced and comfortable base from which to explore the city. The apartment itself was very spacious and if anything the photo's on the website under represented the room space available. The apartment was very clean and the owner himself was very helpful in answering questions in relation to the property and in ensuring that the visit itself was optimally supported by having a relative of his available locally to assist with all queries where neccessary.
