Historic Vacation Rental in Downtown Rapid City!

The property was lovely and centrally located. The Bagel shop across the street is delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place in Rapid City with much attention to detail. It truly is a home away from home. The city and surrounding areas have much to offer. After a week we still had much to do! Hostess Tarah was very helpful with anything we needed (birthday cake bakery, laundry, local events…) and she answered any time day or night. This was perhaps our favorite VRBO of all time!

We had a great stay in Rapid City! Tarah’s apartment was perfect! Cozy and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tarah was kind and a pleasure to deal with! Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment with super comfortable bed and all the trimmings. Even 2 USB ports bedside and purified water in the refrigerator. Best to arrive in daylight to park as it is behind the building in an alley that is dark at night. A bit of a trek to the front door from the parking area. (Pass the apartment (can’t park in front as it’s surrounded by a gate); take a right turn immediately after and the first right into the alleyway; property addresses well marked in alley). Only a mile from thriving Rapid City.

We moved our son to college, and this was a perfect place for us to stay. Tarah is a great host and very responsive. House is very clean, had all amenities, and bed is very comfortable.

This was an excellent location and the host was super responsive. You can park behind in assigned spots or on South St, but either way, it's a bit of a jaunt to get to the door. Loved it, though.

We loved staying at this house. Check in was easy, the property host was communicative and responsive and the house was clean and beautiful. The home is well-stocked and the beds (including the fold-out couch) were very comfy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Oh! Also--the location was perfecto; close to downtown.

This host has thought of every detail to welcome us into this charming abode! The lights were on as well as the air conditioner which was a nice reprieve from the heat! Along with a vase of fresh native flowers from around the area with a welcome note with her phone number for any questions ?. I have food allergies so Tarah was very accommodating to tell me some restaurant options for my needs ???Super clean, carpets are lush and clean (we took off our shoes to keep the carpets from being soiled ) very nicely decorated! She washes ALL the bedding between guests !! Thank you for going the extra mile as we felt very pampered and we will return to this “Home Sweet Home “ away from home when we are in Rapid City again ???

Our stay at Tarah’s lovely home was great. Right off the bat she was very responsive and helpful. The house very comfortable and clean. Her attention to detail in the house is delightful. Great living area where we spent a couple of evenings just relaxing. Cute full kitchen. Bedroom and bathroom everything we needed. Downtown activities about a half mile ten minute walk. We loved it and would stay again if come back!

Walking distance to downtown Rapid City (really cute with great restaurants) and right in between Custer National Park and Badlands National park (about 50 minutes to each). The apartment itself was cute and comfy, no issues. Definitely check out the bagel place that’s right across the street. Would totally stay here again.
