The Speakeasy Loft was the coolest part of the trip! Such a comfy, quaint spot to come chill at after touring downtown. We will definitely stay here again if we ever make our way back to Vicksburg.

Great location with multiple museums and excellent restaurants in walking distance. Brought our dog and found a dog park near by. My fur baby was not a fan of walking up and down the two flights of stairs to the loft but he did enjoy walking up and down Washington and the dog park. Remy was a great and responsive host. Enjoyed food at Key City Pub. The Social, and The Biscuit. Loft was spacious and very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Speakeasy in Vicksburg! The location was perfect — we could easily walk to great local restaurants, one of a kind stores, coffee shops, and breweries. The space itself was unique, comfortable, and full of character. A great spot to experience downtown Vicksburg and its history. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough about our stay, so glad we didn’t let the steps intimidate us, gave us good exercise and very safe with the hand rails. Beyond the doors was a beautiful large space. We ended up staying another night! So much to see and loved our accommodations!! We can’t wait to go back! The host was awesome!

The loft was perfect. Loved the feeling of staying in an old speakeasy while learning about the historic town of Vicksburg. The loft was much bigger than expected, perfect for two old friends to reconnect.

It was beautiful and really cozy compared to home!! In a perfect little spot downtown super close to many different attractions and things to explore, my wife and I even caught their local Christmas parade!! The loft alone was beautiful and worth the stay! 100% coming back and rebooking in the future

We really enjoyed this property. It was like stepping back in time as we opened the wooden door taking us up the worn staircase to the amazing apartment upstairs. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located to shops and restaurants, we’ll definitely consider this property for our next trip to Vicksburg. Everything was perfect, other than not receiving the door code prior to arriving. That was quickly resolved upon calling host.

Great views; easily accessible to downtown shopping, restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this property. The bed was comfortable, and the tubs and showers were great. All kitchen amenities were available. there are 2 flights of stairs to climb with luggage just FYI.

Initial visit was for my bucket list to see (& touch) my last Ironclad {USS Cairo} from the Civil War. Loft is gorgeous (views of river, sunsets & night lightning storms). Girlfriend safely walked solo every morning! Antiques- The Open Market {ask to see pictures of American Picker Mike Wolfe} & Levee Street Market Place. New Civil War Museum & Old Depot Museum (I donated 3 childhood 1960's HO train engines plus a dozen Ironclad books). Best food was Walnut Hills & 10th South Rooftop Grill (dine in for sunset view plus carry out- bring binoculars). Multiple high vantage points near Bridges. Crossed into LA with sunroof & windows open, after a storm had passed and cooled temps, to check out Grant's Canal. Must for Irish folks. And of course why not visit Mississippi's most Haunted House McRaven! Need at least 3 full days to fully appreciate the History & Hospitality.

We stayed in a home, not this loft we booked. There was some sort of mix up and we were sent to a home to check in. It was our first VRBO experience, we were tired, and didn’t know what to do. Contacted the host the next morning to let them know we had checked out a day early since it wasn’t the loft we thought we had booked. We were already over halfway home but the host offered to get us in the right property. It was a glitch on their end and they sent us the check-in to the wrong property. It was a beautiful house inside with a lot of original details. Wish we’d known to contact the host immediately upon arrival so we didn’t miss out on the town.

The owners have done a great job of taking this old building and turning it into a lovely place. Speakeasy is a good term considering the doorway is between two businesses and can be easily overlooked. Then the long stairwell leads you up to this great apartment. Once inside, the loft is well-appointed with a lovely kitchen, living area, bedroom, and two very nice bathrooms. We would certainly stay here again!

This place was an amazing find. Exactly as listed and even more beautiful honestly. Can’t rave about it enough. If just feels like it’s full of history…like if these old walls could talk! The area was close to all the attractions of Vicksburg and felt very safe. Wonderful experience.

Many charming features including a historic loft in a historic neighborhood. Great walking accessibility to museums and restaurants and brewery. We loved baths bathtubs. Basic amenities and equipment for making meals; could be better. The entry stairs are not for the physically challenged but provide great exercise and encourage one to pack lightly. The loft grew on us as the week went on.

We were honestly blown away of the beauty of this property. The owners are so kind and accomodating, and the property exceeded our expectations. We will be booking here for every future trip to Vicksburg. Everything you need is there, within walking distance to pretty much everything. The loft was very clean, exactly as described and was in a perfect location. There are more than enough options for food, drinks and entertainment within walking distance that driving during our stay was not necessary. Street parking was convenient as well. The modern updates to the loft while maintaining the classic features was a nice touch.

My husband and I loved exploring historical Vicksburg. We enjoyed staying at this speakeasy. We loved the old wood floors and exposed brick. We loved the location downtown which was close to several good food options, shopping, and museums. I also was very impressed with how clean the property was. Thank you for letting us stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This historic apartment loft was a dream for us. We chose to visit Vicksburg for the history and what better why to experience that than to stay in a 1800’s loft. The floors look to be original with a story to tell. We were very comfortable, soft bed, with modern appliances and places that count, the bathroom!😊 we met our host who is very friendly and recommended wonderful places to eat. I highly suggest you stay here!
