Stayed Jun 21, 2025We’re an older couple with our teen, young adult, and dog. Waldoboro is a quiet little town with some interesting features and so close to everything. We took day trips to Boothbay, Pemaquid, Freeport, Damariscotti - lakes, ocean beaches, lighthouses, shopping. Sweet neighborhood with things to do within walking distance. Laura & Dana cover everything needed for an easy, enjoyable stay in their clean, comfortable property - with comfortable beds! They are friendly, respectful hosts with a wealth of local info and ideas on finding hikes, local art and food, and dog-friendly stops, Thanks again for a lovely, relaxing vacation!

Stayed Aug 23, 2024I'm not sure which was better, the actual property and all it had for us, or the wonderful hosts who were there if needed yet quietly away as we could enjoy our stay as we wanted.

Stayed Aug 18, 2023Laura was a gracious host, and opened up their beautiful property to our group. We were staying in Waldoboro for a wedding, and they were so helpful! They even offered to provide a ride to and from the venue! While we didn’t need their assistance with the drive, their support felt genuine and heartfelt. I’d recommend anyone interested in a charming, magical midcoast escape to consider this property!

Stayed Jul 31, 2023We were in for a family reunion and needed extra space. The house was so nice, clean and well stocked. We didn’t get to use some of the amenities but it had everything we needed. Laura was so easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable!

Stayed Jul 28, 2023We had a lovely stay at Laura and Dana's place in Waldoboro. The home was great and was able to accommodate our two families pretty well. The yard is lovely and there are games for the kids and fire pits that are awesome. Only thing I'd note is that contrary to the VRBO advertising (at least that we see in Canada) this stay does have both another rental unit and the owners staying in different parts of the home, so it is not a whole property rental. Laura and Dana were super gracious and lovely people though we were worried/conscious about the noise level of the 5 kids (2, 3, 5, 9, and 11) from our two families as even at the best of times kids can be loud.

Stayed Jul 21, 2023We vacation as often as possible in Maine. Because there are many friends and locations we like to visit on each trip, Waldoboro is very well positioned. You can get anywhere in Mid Coast Maine easily. We rented the first floor of the home and it was very clean, well appointed and the owners could not have been nicer. We had all the comforts of home without having to bring it with us. We do a lot of cooking rather than dining out and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The quality of everything from the pots and pans to the silverware to the towels was great! Fresh flowers were waiting for us along with some cookies and several food items for us to eat if we chose. The bathroom and laundry room came with everything you might want. The beds were comfortable and there were some great books in the living room. The owners clearly care about providing a wonderful experience for their guests and we recommend them highly.
