Gem City Haven

It was an older property than I expected but nice. Narrow stairs but fine for us. Price is right. Only one night for us. Close to Air Force Museum.

Tristin is an excellent host, answered all questions and resolved issues that arose. This house is very comfortable and all necessities were available. Yes, the steps are steep, yes the bathroom is upstairs. This is an updated old house and these features accompany age. Great value and close to many of the things we planned to do in Dayton.

House is older so makes a lot of noise when you walk. A little inconvenient have to go upstairs to go to the bathroom every time. Good location.

Very clean and inviting however, the section of town is slightly questionable after dark. Great on tge inside and nothing needed when you show up. The only complaint is the stairs, more a ladder than stairs, must be used if the batbroom is needed. Individuals with unsteady gate or weak ambulations use caution.

A great place to stay! The neighborhood was pretty quiet, but there was an occasional loud car that drove by. The stairs are a little steep, but we were able to get up them just fine. There was a humming sound that we noticed mainly at night, but we think that must have just been the AC kicking on. Bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were other miscellaneous toiletries and a hair dryer as well. Beds were comfortable and clean. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Tristin was super accommodating when I needed to add an additional day last minute. Tristin also was super quick with his replies. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay again!

Stay a few nights for a K9 seminar we were attending. Super cute house, easy walk to the dog park.

Everything was great about this place for what we needed. Did not want to spend a ton of money for just a few days, so this was perfect in terms of value. The only complaint on our end would be the uncomfortable bed which appeared to have a layer of egg crate foam on top of a thin mattress. Our backs were hurting by the end of it. But otherwise, this place is exactly what we needed. Thank you very much!
