Garden apartment in traditional Viennese villa near downtown subway

This ground floor apartment is comfortable, very well-equipped and spotless. We cooked on two nights and found the kitchen had everything we needed, and more. For us the location was perfect for visiting nearby family, but the apartment is also only 5 minutes away from the underground station with rapid access to the centre of the city. We appreciated the friendly and helpful welcome from the owner.

I stayed at Klaudia’s house with my 2 year old, 4 year old, as well as my mother and mother-in-law. Overall, it was a nice stay. Klaudia’s house is very clean and she has put a lot of thought and care into how it is organized. The location is near numerous public transportation options and it’s relatively quiet. Some things that are good to know are that the washing machine costs 3 Euro per wash. (Surprisingly, this is not mentioned in the listing.) One of the bedrooms doubles as the living room so if someone is sleeping there you don’t have a living room. Also, although fully above ground and with full sized windows on 3 of the 4 sides, it does feel and smell like you’re in a basement. Another important thing to note is that there are NO toys in the backyard. It’s a beautiful backyard and it’s nice to have an outside space for kids, but with nothing to do they got very bored. There is a park nearby but making a trip to the park is not the same as opening up the door and having your kids play while you cook, clean, get ready, etc. If you aren’t planning on spending a lot of time at the house, then this may not be a big deal. However, I had planned to be there quite a bit and visit with family, so it wasn’t ideal for us. There is a park that is about a 5 minute adult walk to the play structures. With your kids this takes at least 10 minutes. It’s a nice park but not great for smaller children and it’s very crowded on the weekends in the summer. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Just as described and recently renovated. Klaudia is kind and helpful. The garden will be wonderful in warmer weather. It is outside the city center, that could be a plus or a minus.

We had a very nice stay in the garden appartment, which was beautifully and efficiently furnished and equipped; the location of the appartment is great as in a green and quiet area and yet within 20 minutes reach from Viennas City centre. It is an idéal place to stay when visiting Vienna; we appreciated the host's friendliness, clear guidance and availability; we can definitely recommend this wonderful place for future visitors;

The property was nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed, and the rooms are spacious. The property location is central to necessities, including the subway, groceries, a bakery, a post office, and local restaurant. The property owner is friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to talk too.

Klaudia promptly answered our questions before we booked the accommodation. Met us on arrival showing us around the excellent accommodation that met all of our families requirements and provided details on local shops and restaurants, specially organised bike storage in their shed, public transport options, garden for our children to use and where to park our car south of the train line as you can't park outside of the property Mon - Fri. Can't recommend Klaudia and the accommodation highly enough for a stay in Vienna, but without the city centre restrictions or price.

We really enjoyed our stay in Vienna, the property is in a great location, quite and we all had a relaxing stay. If we come back anytime, we will check if it is available.
