Beautiful neighborhood and fantastic location. We loved our stay! Heidi was great. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

You will be in a space in someone’s house, with little privacy and it feels icky. I was discussing the temp of the space and I got a message that I should keep the place closed up. My wife and I felt we had to whisper to each other. Each day when we returned the sliding screen door was not closed, even though we had closed it. The host claimed she was cleaning the track (every day?) I think she was entering our room. We were in a celebratory mood and were playing music I was asked to turn it down because the walls were “very thin”. Yet she had to apologize to us because her grandkids were over and made a lot of racket. No dogs allowed but her dog is barking and coming up to sniff you. We left a day early because we hated being there. If you just want to eat, shower, and sleep it works. If you want chill forget about.it. Much more I could say but I just want to move on from this waste of money.

Heidi and Paul are great hosts! Their one bedroom apartment is a short walk to the private fishing streams and their outdoor patio was perfect for morning coffee. We will stay there again if their place is available the next time we visit the Ranch.

This apartment was perfect for us! The Wade’s are gifted hosts that have curated a special stay in the Roaring Fork Valley. Impeccably clean with everything we needed for cooking (including a gas range), relaxing (fantastic view and property), and sleeping (super comfy bed and cool night air). So close to everything we wanted to do. Thank you Heidi & Paul, we look forward to a return visit!

The apartment is attached to a larger house but is completely private. Very well equipped and clean. Easy to get from there to all the valley has to offer - biking, hiking, dining in both Basalt and Carbondale. And if you’re at all into fly fishing it can’t be beat. The neighborhood has lots of private water (smallish streams) with lots of big rainbows. Easy to walk to plenty of fishing spots. Of course, you can also drive to the Frying Pan river for gold medal waters. We had a great time!
