It was in a great location. The unit was clean but there was a heavy smell of cats. The walk-in shower would only flow for 15 seconds and would shut off. Finally discovered a weird little valve behind the shower head.
The location was convenient and had all the needed amenities. The rooms were old and had a not pleasant odor.
very nice clean and easy access.loved it
Loved this home. This cozy home was built about 1901. We enjoyed our stay there. Queen bedroom with full bathroom. Second bathroom by the kitchen. Second bedroom has a twin bed. There is also a sofa sleeper and air mattress. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, ice cream maker, mixer, blender and slow cooker. We were able to cook all our meals. I loved it. Owner is quick to respond to question. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I was so grateful I was able to bring my 14 year old cat. This was a home away from home. It is on a second floor. There is a secure private entrance. Parking on site. It’s a gem in Nauvoo.
Nice
We loved the Fairy Bowery apartment. So clean and pretty and fun for kids—lots of space. Comfy beds. So great. Our second time staying at this property. Central to town. Love it so much! Thank you!!
Very accomodating host. Quick to answer questions. Plenty cool with the window a/c units. Very comfortable mattresses and air mattress with the exception of the couch bed. Couch itself is comfortable. Convenient location to shops, temple, and historic sites.
The Fairy Bowery in Nauvoo allowed us to bring our dog. It's hard to find accommodations that are pet friendly! Rebecca was quick to reply to both emails and telephone calls. Overall, it was clean, but the place has quite a strong animal odor. Some people in our party were quite bothered by it, while others weren't. It has a window air conditioning unit and two or three fans, but no central air. It was hot in the back bedroom. Also, it is listed as a 6 person rental. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a small alcove with a single and a sofa bed, which was very uncomfortable. In fact, my son ended up leaving it as a sofa and sleeping on that. The sixth bed is actually a blow up mattress that we had to blow up ourselves. So, yes, it technically can sleep six people, but not comfortably. The location was very close to everything downtown, and right across the street from the golf cart and go cart rentals, which was awesome. There is a gas station across the street which was convenient for late night snacks and pizza.
