The attention given to the restoration of this unit (an old town hall) was exceptional. It was well kept and clean. The thought and effort given to the interior design and furnishings was very apparent. The nice-ites (snack bars, oatmeal etc., chance to make an on-site written note, was much appreciated. The view was of the country side was wonderful along with the night-sky. Thank You.

This studio was built from the original town hall, which was moved to this farm property. Vintage and antique, but with every fairy tale detail attended to. So incredibly charming. The decor and scenery made me smile. Quiet and peaceful. Will be back. (Just an FYI: there is nothing to cook on, but we planned ahead and it wasn't an issue for us). Thank you Greta for sharing this wonderful vintage cottage with guests and the yummy pumpkin bread and coffee. It's an experience unto itself. Five Stars!

Our family loves to travel, and this is hands down one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Sonora Town Hall is less than a 10-minute drive from Nauvoo, close enough to enjoy all of the sites and people but also far enough out of town for some peace and quiet. The location is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and well stocked with all of the essentials that guests need. At night, we were greeted by dozens of fireflies dancing over the soybean crops, and we could see it all from the wonderful backyard deck. Greta even left some cinnamon bread for us to enjoy, which was perfect for breakfast. We will absolutely be returning to Sonora Town Hall in the future, and we're already looking forward to our visit.

Loved the cozy space and our gracious host Greta. The Mississippi River road had gorgeous views of the water and we enjoyed a long, peaceful farmland hike just across the state line in Iowa.

This property matched the name of the city Nauvoo, the beautiful city. It was a 5 star hotel stay. The property was gorgeous, the landscaping was amazing. The old town hall room we stayed in was delightful. Beds were very comfortable as was everything. We loved this place and loved the small gifted cinnamon bread. Everything was well thought out. It was a 5 star “hotel” stay.
