Experience Glacier View charm - cozy 1-bedroom apartment

The host was very warm and responsive. They took care of everything we needed. We had a great time.

The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning! The kitchen was well set up and had everything we needed for our stay.

Every turn in the road in Alaska brings you a new breathtaking view, but having said that, the view from the cozy apartment at Glacier View just has to rank in the upper handful of sites we have visited. It is truly unmatched. In addition to having EVERYTHING you could wish for, and being wonderfully decorated, our host was easy to deal with and promptly answered any question we had. It is pet-friendly, and our pet dog, Carly, had plenty of room for her walks. Even though Glacier View is in the middle of the wilderness area along Glen Hwy, there are restaurants only a short distance down the road in either direction. In short, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful suit in mountains. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with everything my family needed. Best of all, you have stunning view of mountains. Host Shana is super helpful and responsive to make sure you have a great stay. Wish we had more time there!

We had a wonderful stay! Shayna was extremely kind and easy to communicate with.

Started badly. No code sent to get in, wifi info was wrong plus no phone signal. Finally got in. View was fantastic however the apartment needs a lot of renovation. Seat covers on the patio were faded and split, shower base was on its last legs. Pans and cutlery looked about 20 plus years old and need to go in the bin.

Wonderfully serene location with everything we needed & views that were stunning! Host thought of all the little & big things we could need/want, including snacks, toiletries, & laundry. Decided to add another day just because it was so fabulous & we didn’t want to move on. So easy to communicate with host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Such a lovely place!

Very homey - all of the extra touches were very nice (eggs from the yard chickens, snacks, plenty of spices, kitchen utensils). Lovely and interesting art and decorations. Comfortable beds (regular bed and sofa sleeper - didn't use the futon). We wish there was a sign-in book! Maybe we missed it.Easy check-in and check-out, good wifi.I saw some reviews about lots of mosquitos. This seems to have been a light year overall - we didn't have a single mosquito and spent as much time as possible on the porch.I hope to come back with my husband this winter to enjoy the views again with snow!Thank you for allowing pets. I know it's an extra risk and I love being able to travel with my pups.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier View. Check in was easy, however Maps took us across the street to Sheep Mtn Resort. They gave us the proper directions. The address is plainly posted on the road. Shana left us fresh eggs, moose burger and sausage jalapeno sticks. Snacks and coffee was also graciously provided. The scenery was spectacular. Thank you, Shana for a great experience!

Easy check in with communication in advance. WiFi was very nice and the observation room was great for family games

Great place great views, close for the glacier tour. Everything we could ask for. Located on one of the most scenic roads in Alaska. Looking forward to staying there again.

Great place for short or long stay. Came for the July 4th car launch. The views from this place are stunning! Found myself just watching the sunlight dance across the mountain view for hours

We had a lovely time at this rental. It had everything we needed and more. It was easy to check in, the WiFi was good, and the views were fantastic. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

Clean space with all the essentials. Well plowed and a great location with easy snow machine trail access.

My family has stayed here before, which is the best indicator of how nice of a place this is. Kitchen is well furnished. No problems to report at all. We stayed for our snowmachine ride weekend. Trails are easily accessible and hosts are very helpful in guiding us on the where to gos.

After packing and driving almost two hours, we opened the door to the cabin and got hit in the face with raid. Since there are no roaches in alaska, the only thing you could be fumigating for is bed bugs. Tourist have died from sleeping in rooms that had been fumigated for bed bugs. they didn't even try to air it out. I can't believe you would do someone like that. it stunk horribly.. I could feel it in my throat period I almost got dizy from it .

Felt very homey, especially with fresh farm eggs and cinnamon roll! Responsive hosts too. A little binder of local info and such is the only info I missed.
