Elegant and bright apartment Orsan Dubrovnik

This apartment was perfect. Valerie and her husband were extremely accommodating; picking us up at the airport to taking us to our boat for departure the next day. They are very personable. The apartment has everything you need and clean! Very generous with the toiletries as well as completely furnished kitchen. The apartment is decorated very simple and cute, no clutter. The upper patio is an amazing space, we could hang out there all night.

The apartment is even nicer than it appears on line. It is very clean, nicely decorated and has 2 basically identical suites on the 1st and 2nd floors. This is nice if you are traveling with another couple as both get equal accommodations. It is located in a quiet neighborhood which is less than a 10 minute, reasonably priced Uber ride to Old Town Dubrovnik. We enjoyed getting out of the noise from within the city walls at night and this was a perfect place to get a good night sleep. There is a yacht club right across the street that has a wonderful restaurant in it as well. The food was delicious. What really sets this apartment apart from many that we have stayed at was the kindness and attentiveness of our hosts. They responded to questions I had nearly instantaneously and arranged for our transfers so that we didn’t have to worry about them. They went above and beyond for us and we hope to be able to visit them and their beautiful apartment again in the future.

We had to write a review about this fabulous apartment. It is beautifully presented and couldn't be in a better location. There are several very scenic beaches within walking distance of the apartment and if you also want the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik old town, this can be reached cheaply and quickly by Uber in around ten minutes. There are many high quality restaurants within walking distance too. We have just returned after spending nine most enjoyable days there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

We had an absolute lovely stay! The apartment is modern and beautiful and we had the best welcome from Damir (and he provided us with a guide book). Having the apartment out of the old town was so relaxing and cheaper! The setting is peaceful, relaxing and has everything you will need within a 5 min walk. Although, I wouldn’t rate the Orsan restaurant which everyone raves about, rather expensive. Definitely take Uber to the old town, it was cheaper and much more comfortable. Honestly couldn’t have had a better trip, loved it.

I stayed in this lovely apartment with my sister and her baby boy (5months) for five full days. We were lucky with the weather, coming from freezing Finland this was a bliss. The apartment was in a beautiful, tranquil location with wonderful views to the sea and surroundings. Bus stops were near and it was very easy and quick to take a trip to old town or anywhere really. The distances are not very long in Dubrovnik, so we found this location perfect for us. So picturesque! The apartment was brand new with very nice and functional interior&furnishings. Especially the bedrooms up and down with their own good quality bathrooms (good water pressure!) and the marvellous terrace on the second floor. And there were all the home appliances we needed. Both Damir and his mother were so warm and welcoming, gave us good tips to see in this lovely town. We couldn't have asked for more! Very high recommendation!

We stayed in the apartment for a week to use as a base to go to Dubrovnik old town and lazy days on the beach. Damir and his family could not have been more welcoming. Damir's mother met us at the airport and gave us lots of information and tips. We were a little nervous about the apartment as there were no reviews and it was brand new, however, upon entering the apartment we had no reason to be nervous. It is perfect! We had a couple of issues during our stay which Damir responded to immediately, we couldn't have asked for more. It is well equipped, very clean and the terrace is so peaceful to sunbathe on or eat your breakfast whilst watching the boats. We were unlucky to get 2 full days of rain, however, having such a lovely apartment to hide in meant we weren't bothered by the weather. We walked to the shop (5 minutes away), got some food and drink, and played games whilst waiting for the weather to pass. The coastal path starts 2 minutes from the apartment. You can walk all the way around to Lapad beach, alternatively there are 3 main beaches on the way round. The first beach has sunbeds to hire, a free shower and 2 little huts that offer basic food, drinks and icecream (what more do you need?!). The second beach, Copacobana, is more touristy but has a restaurant. You have to pay for the shower and everything is a little more expensive. We didn't go to Lapad beach as this looked very busy and full of children. Lapad is a 5-10 minute walk away where you can find a whole variety of restaurants, it can be busy and noisy here which is why we enjoyed the peace and quiet at the apartment so much. Orsan restaurant is literally opposite the apartment, fantastic restaurant as is Peppers which is 10-15 minutes down the harbour. The bus stop from the old town is 2-3 mins down the road, the owners suggested we catch the bus from up the hill by Lapad, we'd recommend you catch it from the nearer bus stop and travel around the Lapad area as the bus stop in Lapad is very busy, you often have to wait for 2-3 buses before there is room to get on. The old town is 10-15 minutes on the bus. In summary we couldn't have been happier with the apartment, it's location and our host, Damir. Highly recommend and we will hopefully be back next year for a few days before island hopping up the coast.
