Stayed Jun 22, 2025This was our 5th stop in Italy, and our favorite! Located in a quieter neighborhood. Our host Mattia was wonderful.The appartament was beautiful, clean and had everyhing we needed. Would comfortably accommodate 4 people. Next ext time I'll stay longer!

Stayed May 12, 2025The house is spacious and has everything you need. Really everything. It is furnished nice to see but not comfortable. We missed chairs for the late evening to sit on. The bed is super. Very comfortable. We had a perfect stay

Stayed May 18, 2025Lovely 4 days. Location superb: quiet but so close to San Marco. Most importantly you are steps away from the Vaporetto: access to the whole lagoon. The Accademia side of the Grand Canal is so much quieter but full of excellent restaurants, shops and - not to be missed - the Museum of the Accademia. Wish we had stayed 8 days. Host Mattia is wonderful.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024This apartment is ideally situated just minutes from the Accademia vaporetto stop and within walking distance to San Marco Square, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and the Accademia Museum. We loved staying at the place -- our 20-year-old daughter stayed upstairs in the loft bedroom, and we stayed downstairs. The kitchen was well supplied; we ate about half of our meals at home. As others have indicated, there is a steep spiral staircase, but we managed fine. Mattia, the host, was extremely helpful and communicative. He met us as we arrived and showed us where the apartment was. (It's down a very narrow alley, so I'm not sure we would have found it on our own, even with his clear map and directions.) In sum, it was the perfect place for our week in Venice!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024The apartment was small but perfect for 4 of us. The stairs were manageable. Nice location for a lot of walking. 1.2 mile walk from the train station. Not a real hard walk but you must cross 9 or 10 bridges with steps.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024First trip to Venice and the apt was the perfect location. Although the apt is not in the center of town, it is only a short walk to all the major sites. And being away from the main square, the apt is nice and quiet. Matteo was an incredible guest and the apt was perfect for the four of us. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Venice.

Stayed Nov 1, 2023VERY nice, with a highly attentive owner/manager. Only one caution for elderly and limited-mobility travelers: lots of stairs. Well worth it if you can make the climb, but if you have trouble ascending, this one will be tough. (Then again, Venice is not an easy place to visit under those circumstances anyway!)
