Our stay at the guest house was perfect! We were immediately charmed by the space’s design and decor. The bed was comfortable, the shower temperature and pressure was perfect after our long chilly adventures downtown. The location is a short distance walk to the main attractions, however the neighborhood itself has restaurants and shops to explore on your way to the French quarter & Frenchman st. We loved our stay, would absolutely book again!

Easy, clean, excellent.

Our stay was good. The home was walking distance from some really good breakfast restaurants. Our room was clean and had high quality shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and towels. The bed was comfortable. Only scalding water came out of the shower on our first day there; the owner had it repaired by a plumber, and during that time, we were given use of the shower at a second unit at the home. The TV did not work properly and we informed the owner so she could take care of that. The owner was friendly and helpful.

It was the perfect location for our stay this year. Close enough to stroll to lots of great music venues, bars, and restaurants while giving us a home away from home feel. And, the bed was one of the most comfortable I remember sleeping in anywhere but home!

We loved the cute, clean, chrarming, comfortable apartment. Perfect location, we parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it till we left. Just a short walk on the river walk to the French quarters we're we would start our day with breakfast and catch the hop on- hop off bus to see all of New Orleans. It was a great time !

This is an excellent place to stay when visiting New Orleans. It's a cozy spot in a generally quiet neighborhood (there are sometimes trains passing a couple blocks away at night), and it has everything you need for successful adventuring in the city. Bordering the French Quarter you're close to the action and all the great places on Frenchman's St. The entire Quarter is well within waking distance. Getting to other parts of the city is also very easy as the street cars on Rampart St or the riverfront are only a short walk away. Parking near the house is also very easy.

The apartment is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The neighbourhood and all the neighbours were delightful and Rita is a fantastic host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely a great place. My wife and me stayed there for 3 days and thought it had everything we needed. We found parking right in front. The bed was great and we enjoyed the area and felt safe. My wife loved the decor.Thanks again Rita.

Excellent location and vibe. A bit of a walk to Bourbon St. but we did it in 2 successive days and we’re both in our 70’s. The host was very responsive and cordial.

Rita was very accommodating and quick to response. She checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The place was perfect for the price. Just far enough away from the very busy French Quarter but still plenty of shops & galleries during the day, as well as eats & bars for the evening. Neighborhood was great to walk around and not too loud, except maybe the train.

The neighborhood was amazing! So colorful, filled with friendly people and fun and quirky houses and shops. We had a fantastic time and would happily book again. Stayed at Rita's guest house for our first kid-free trip ever! It was the best launching pad for exploring the city and the best place to relax at the end of the day. The bed was so comfortable we just wanted to lay there and watch movies all day. The soace was very thoughtfully set up. It even had sunscreen and a first aid kit. Neighborhood was very quiet, so quiet that a chatty cat was my alarm clock one morning. Very cute. Would absolutely stay here again.

This home was perfect for my husband and I. We stayed 5 night's, the neighborhood was peaceful and quite. A short distance from anything that you would need. Well furnished, bed was comfortable, we loved the shower head and plenty of street lighting for coming home after dark. We had coffee every morning on the quaint front porch. A couple blocks away is the French Market, French Quaters and Bourbon St. Awesome and fast communication with Rita, but everything was perfect we only needed her once about the street parking. We have found a lovely place to stay for our next trip to New Orleans. Thank you again Rita, see you next time.

Had a conference in Bywater so perfect stay, street parking easy, check in easy, quiet neighborhood. I'd come back

For anyone looking for a safe relaxing fun and convenient home to stay in, this is it. My host Rita is great if you need anything she is available. The welcome manual makes staying a breeze, all house info and neighborhood info you need to fully enjoy your stay.

The house was so cozy. I love the tall ceilings it just set the tone for a great stay in New Orleans. I really enjoyed my stay!

This stay was so fantastic, wonderful guide to the area from our host, responsive to questions, ease of location being close to so many artsy area attractions on top of the French Quarter. Highly recommend staying with Rita, sitting out front and sipping coffee in the mornings, and divine living arrangements.

We stayed in Rita's place for 3 nights, and it was exceptional. The location was perfect; it was about a 10-15 minute walk from Frenchmen Street, about 25 to Bourbon Street, and beautiful neighborhoods in between. We sat on the front porch every morning with coffee, and it felt like we were at home and truly part of the neighborhood somehow. We chatted with her briefly a few times on her way in and she's lovely! What a magical place. We hope to come back next year! As a note, there is a train close by, but she does have a small noise machine in there which helped a lot. You might still want to bring earplugs, but we slept just fine, and the bed was super comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Rita’s place. Very clean, charming & in a great neighborhood. Drinking coffee on the front patio was a huge highlight of our trip! Rita was also very friendly & accomodating.

Great location...straddling Bywater and the Marigny you are close to the best of both. Cute furnishings, cozy comfy beg and nice amenities make this the perfect stay to explore and have a home base to rest and recharge

We loved the apartment and the neighborhood, lots of nice thoughtful touches and amazing food and bars nearby. Nearby train goes by frequently, and loudly, including during the night, but the most comfortable mattress in the world makes up for it!
