Dutchman's Beach Retreat

Excellent location of a very amenable unit; close to beach and easy walk to Nelson Bay. Delightful unit, clean neat and all accommodating

Great spot, walking distance to town via Cycleway, quick walk to beach, great sunsets from the balcony. Was spacious enough for 3 of us, wifi worked well, beds were comfy but pillows were poor quality and need replacing. Didn’t like the fact we had to make our own beds on arrival, no toiletries apart from hand soap, second bedroom had dusty floor and rotten apple core under bed, pillow had stains on it, no tea, coffee or milk provided, and it was very damp due to condensation on windows.

Absolutely fantastic position, stairs down to beach path and great view. Very well equpped kitchen.. Comfy bed and living area.

This apartment is aesthetically pleasing in the way it is maintained and professionally decorated.There is everything you need in the apartment and everything is easily located.The view is magnificent as it overlooks Dutchies Beach and distant headlands…..truly breathtaking day and night!The owner kept us informed of everything we needed for access the apartment and make our stay so easy from the time we booked to our arrival and departure.

Great little unit with everything needed. No air con but lots of fans and the ability to open the big doors and windows to allow the sea breezes through.Super clean and fresh. Location was great. Views from the balcony over Dutchies Beach were lovely to watch the dolphins and sunsets. Quick walk to beach - which is a plus these days with pay parking that’s been introduced across the Bay Area. Small walk into town for dinners. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, wished it could have been longer. Rained most days but the view from the open verandah was amazing, with something happening on the water every minute. The unit was well stocked with everything you would requiire. Bed was really comfortable and shower was very good. Only downside is no Aircon for summer. stays. But we will be back. Loved it.

Great location! Amazing view from the apartment and a stones throw to the beach. Close to everything but still so quiet. Place was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed to be warm and cool and make ourselves at home. Communication with Alan was easy. All instructions were easy. The bed was comfy. 5 star rating. Thanks so much we’ll be back!

Situated in quiet residential area with some good views even though it was raining. The unit was well furnished and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay
