Stayed Sep 30, 2022Kitchen has everything you’ll need- dishware, cookware, utensils, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker. Comfortable bed. Great water pressure. Cozy living room with fireplace. Very clean. Convenient 1-5 minute walk to anywhere in town. Would stay here again for sure.

Stayed Jun 14, 2022Defiance at The Mariner House was just perfect. I don’t think the online listing does it justice. It was spacious, inviting and warm. We felt like we had a little home waiting for us in the middle of town each day.

Stayed Sep 13, 2021This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had. The Defender House was perfect and everything we were expecting it to be and EVEN MORE. We were located in the center or Nantucket downtown within walking distance to most attractions. We can't say enough about the rental and the town. Ron

Stayed Sep 11, 2019Very nice accommodations, located just two blocks from cobblestoned Main St.. Good selection of cooking ware, enough to boil a lobster if you are so inclined. Bedroom and bath, very comfortable. Our two day stay in September was very nice. Many great restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed Aug 2, 2019Wonderfully central location. Quaintly decorated. We had a great time. Not a problem for us, but there is no air conditioning, so if that is important to you, this spot is not an option. We would definitely be happy to stay there again.
