Downtown Mystic - Newly Renovated Apartment

This is a fantastic location, updated and well designed room. We would recommend this without hesitation as a great place to stay for a visit to Mystic.

Impeccable simplicity with a beautiful design made this a joy-even tho we basically only slept there. Mike the contact was so helpful when questions arise. Would stay there again.

Second stay here, still perfect choice! Everything you could want or need, clean and so close to town. Walking distance to most everything. We shall return!

This apartment was wonderful. It was immaculate and tastefully appointed. It was great to have so much space. The owner responded to all requests promptly. He also was available to make restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay at this location again.

We rented this apartment for a 2 day birthday getaway. It was lovely. The apartment was so clean and comfortable. The set up and use of space is impressive. There were other guests there but we never saw them. The apartment is walkable to many shops and restaurants.So fun!!

Great place to stay with perfect location. Newly renovated, super clean and a good mattress. We stay here when it is available on our trips to Mystic. Host communicates well and the arrival/departure process is easy.

It truly was a perfect stay. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Furniture comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Hulu live we watched Uconn men basketball win in the last few seconds of the game! Easy walk to Water St and downtown. Great communication with owner/manager. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the nicest places we have ever rented on VRBO. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Nice off street parking and a 2 minute walk into town. Mike was a great host and very communicative. We visit Mystic regularly and will definitively be renting from Mike again.

What a lovely place to stay. Centrally located near all the best restaurants and shopping Mystic has to offer. Everything was walkable. The apartment itself provided all the daily amenities anyone could ask for and we are looking forward to staying here again in the near future. The host was so sweet in offering assistance in booking dinner reservations and activities. Looking forward to booking again!

Oh my gosh, where do I begin with how great this place was. First off, it's gorgeous, perfectly located and clean as a pin. The owner is very responsive. But the little touches! Tea and cookies in the kitchen. Nice soaps in the bathroom. Wine glasses. Two quilts. Hulu is included. Excellent time!

Excellent location. Right in the heart of downtown Mystic. Off-street parking is a plus. Apartment is newly renovated, clean, and comfortable for two. Kitchen was well-supplied. Small patio in back was a perfect place to unwind. Mike was the best host. He was available when I called and gave us some excellent ideas for places to visit that were not originally on our radar. We’ll be back.

I couldn't recommend this place more! The location, cleanliness, well throughout details, decor... Etc. The host was beyond accommodating and made the trip a dream.

Great location. Short walk to to everything

I recently stayed for a week alone at this renovated apartment in downtown Mystic, and it turned out to be just what I needed. I'm in my sixties now, and traveling solo means I look for places that are simple, comfortable, and easy to manage without a lot of fuss. This spot, about 450 square feet with one bedroom and bath, felt right-sized for me—nothing overwhelming, but nicely updated and cozy.Being so close to everything was a real plus. I could walk just a couple of minutes to the marina and a bit farther to the Seaport Museum, which I enjoyed at my own pace. Mystic has that old-time feel I appreciate, with the waterfront for strolls and good spots for seafood nearby. It let me explore without needing a car much, and I liked coming back to a peaceful place after.The basics were all there and mostly worked well: a kitchen for my morning coffee and light meals; a washer and dryer, which were the only disappointment (too energy efficient, so everything took a long time); air conditioning to stay cool; and a little outdoor spot where I sat reading in the evenings. The bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly.Everything was clean and straightforward when I arrived, no surprises. I'd seen the perfect 10/10 rating online, and it almost lived up to that for me.Communications with the owner were excellent.If you're like me and want a no-frills, well-located place in Mystic for some time to yourself, this one's worth considering.

We loved the apartment so much and most likely will book here again. The bed was gorgeous and comfortable and the sheets and blankets smelled like sunshine. The towels in the bathroom were plentiful and also smelled wonderful. I need to know what you use on your linens. Every space in this place was beautiful and had anything you could want. The kitchen was well stocked with china, drinking vessels, cutlery and everything you’d need to cook a full meal. We didn’t use the built in dishwasher or laundry but if we were there for a longer stay we would have. There is also a full fridge, stove, and convection oven (I think), coffee maker, toaster…etc. there was also an electric kettle which I so appreciated along with assorted tea and sugar, and the most delicious cookies.There was a sweet little dining space, but we loved lounging in the living area in front of the tv for our meals.This place is in walking distance of the town which has many boutiques and restaurants. We loved the handmade pasta at Via Emilia’s and were delighted to have a margarita and fresh Ninigret Oysters at the Tree House which is above the Oyster House Restaurant. Our favorite restaurant is S& P but we didn’t get to go there this time. The Mystic Maritime museum is right down the road and we enjoyed the artifacts and going for an 8 tour of the Mystic River on the Sabino.We give this place 5 plus stars. We were very comfy and Mike was just a text away. You will not be disappointed.

Everything was exceptional. Beautiful property close to downtown. This is our second time at this property and we know there will be more.

First time to Mystic. The location was great; could walk to all the shops and restaurants. The place is beautifully done.

We loved our experience here. The apartment is pristine, and the location is second to none.

This was our 2nd time staying at this wonderful apartment for Thanksgiving weekend. I can't say enough good things about it. The location is perfect, within walking distance of almost everything. The apartment itself is very clean, well-appointed and so comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plates, utensils and cookware. In the bathroom you'll find soap shampoo/conditioner and even Q-tips. You can literally just show up with your clothes. Finally, the host, Mike is fantastic. Don't hesitate to book this gem.

This apartment was fantastic! The design was incredibly efficient, yet still had charm. The location was perfect! So close to downtown. The owner, Mike, was responsive and friendly. I would definitely rent here again. We would coordinate next time to have friends stay in the apartment next door or upstairs.

I’m back home, but I keep thinking about our stay at Mike’s place in Mystic and had to leave a review. This apartment is the perfect place to stay when visiting this area: 1) excellent location in town, walkable to everything. 2) Beautifully furnished, with everything you could need. 3) Exceptionally comfortable bed. 4) Mike himself was a fabulous host. I needed to change my dates at one point and he was super helpful. Great communication and had tons of recommendations for us in the area, He even left us a delicious box of lemon biscuit cookies. If we make it back to this area again, we’ll definitely stay at one of Mike’s properties! 3

The property is in a central location, easy to walk around town. The property itself was clean, well decorated and came well equipped. This was our first time in Mystic and we had a fabulous time.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Everything about this apartment was perfect. Quiet Street and you never would have known there were other people staying on the same property. Can't beat being withing walking distance of pretty much everything Mystic. Mike was easy to communicate with, sent clear instructions for checking/in checking out. He even sent recommendations for places to go in the area. We will definitely be booking here again in the future! 11/10 recommend!!

This property is a wonderful place to stay. 5 stars for cleanliness and class. It's only a 5 minute walk to center city Mystic so close to all you need including restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this for any couples.

Convenient, clean, and comfortable. Very close to the main street through Mystic. Easy walking distance to the scenic Mystic River and iconic drawbridge, restaurants Including Mystic Pizza, and shopping. Recently renovated apartments in modern style in a historic building (1843 Conference House for Second Baptist Church). The owner, who must have the gift of hospitality, has thought of every convenience for a comfortable stay.

This is a fantastic property and a huge reason is Mike, the host. Mike responded immediately to requests which is absolutely the best service we’ve experienced at any hotel or vacation rental. We were in the hospitality business for many years and recognize that Mike a true professional. He has a great personality and is very knowledgeable and helpful about things to do in the area. The unit is perfect: lots of windows, plenty of space for 2 people, wonderful kitchen and appliances, pleasant outdoor seating area, and a great location. We will definitely stay again.
